Went for a free trial. Where do I start mixed changing rooms direct cold showers. People trying to sell personal training to you before you've even finished Staff on phones or chatting outside. Equipment dirty or broken I'm glad I was able to see this overpriced dump for myself before I thought of joining. I'm also glad I read reviews I'm not having that stress in my life I will definitely not be joining this gym

I joined for 6 months and supplied my bank details for dd! They emailed me on holiday saying there was an issue with the dd could I make a payment by link so I did! I then emailed them to confirm my bank details! They never acknowledged the email, took my money either so I gave up! Never went back to the gym! So then 3 months later getting emails from a debt collector? Why not act like a proper business and call me to discuss, or ask me for new bank details nothing! I’ll pay off the £68 they are chasing to get away from these cowboys! The biggest joke is the gym is absolutely stinking the showers, changing rooms are just disgusting! Shame they don’t take as much care in the gym than chasing people for money due to them being so useless! Some of the lads who go to the gym are great that’s the only positive! Avoid!

Good local gym in general. But the reason I am giving only one star is because of the app and the classes booking system - it is the worst by far. Actually, it’s not an app, just a website shortcut on your mobile phone, it’s not user friendly, you have to login every time you want to access, and the classes booking opens at 1am!! which it doesn’t make sense at all!! I’ve raised this issue to the staff but they said they can’t do much other than report it. I couldn’t find any way to give my feedback to the company on their website, so here’s my complaint. I hope it works to improve this issue.

I have been a member here for about 4 years now and in this time I have always been encouraged by the incredible dedicated staff like Mark to push myself further in their amazing group classes up to the latest challenge that Michael put me forward for which was a doubles Hyrox pro with another trainer Jadranka whom helped me up my training and trained with me to achieve our incredible first Hyrox challenge. Thank you all so much. Can’t wait for the next challenge.

I joined at this gym in September. I absolutely love it as I found big gyms too intimidating. This gym is not small or too big its just perfect for a shy gym goer like me. I have become so confident in this gym and love the members. Everyone is always appracheable and happy to help if I need it. I also love how after work it's not too busy either which makes it perfect as I'm not a morning person. Great gym overall!

They "closed for refurbishments" for supposedly two weeks in September, I was charged for the full month. I was happy to pay with the promise of an updated gym. Then in mid-October a sign appeared on the front door of the gym from their landlord essentially saying the property had been repossessed. I was also charged in full for the month of October. Absolutely none of this was (or has since been) communicated to members - the fact that their gym has literally been forced closed. The only way you would know is by going to the gym and finding the door padlocked with a sign on it. No one has emailed or messaged to say that our membership would be terminated or valid at another gym. I emailed the company last week requesting a refund for the two months where the gym has essentially been shut, that was completely ignored. Really sucks that they treat their customers like this as the gym was pretty good and super local to me. A PureGym opened one road over about six months ago, I would encourage everyone to just go there instead.

I’ve been at the gym since it started but recently I needed to use the PT staff for some physio. They tailored classes to my current needs and supported me every step with equipment. Amazing, knowledgeable gym staff - thank you!

I am a member of Energie Fitness Borough since September. The gym has everything you need for a good workout, and now with Kassidy as manager, it's in excellent hands. He's an outstanding PT who makes each session both challenging and enjoyable mixing strength work, cardio, and boxing. He pays close attention to your form and progress and tailors each session so that you're always pushed just to your limits. Love his energy, makes every workouts something to look forward to.

Do not recommend.

Bad customer service. Unprofessional staff. Irritating promotional emails. Confusing cancellation policy.

Energie Fitness Ashford membership was cancelled in October 2024, and they sent an email confirmation that the membership was cancelled and no future payments would be taken. A year later, in October 2025, a debt collection agency contacted claiming money was owed. Emails with proof of cancellation were sent to both Energie Fitness and the debt collection agency, but no responses were received. Very poor communication and stressful experience.

Joined Energy after first lockdown and never looked back. Fran and the team, Dylan, Chad and Indy are all lovely welcoming people. The can't do enough for you, they are knowledgeable and easy to talk to for advise, tips and encouragement. Classes are many, people are great and friendly, the place is clean. If you want to join in on the social scene then they organise anything from walks to Bongo Bingo, Curry nights to zip lining Snowdonia, rounders to bootcamp & BBQs....something for everyone!!

I last submitted a review in February 2024. I would still rate this a good gym, and I feel very at home here. It is disappointing how long it takes for repairs to be carried out. When short term problems turn into long term issues, something is not right. I use this gym five times a week, two of them with my personal trainer, Kass, who I have now been working with for eight years. He is outstanding and I know he has other clients who feel the same. Now that Kass has joined the management team, I am sure the gym will go from strength to strength.

I am having a great experience at this gym. Since Kassidy became manager, I have been able to see lots of improvements such as vibes and atmosphere. The gym and its facilities are great.

I have been a member of Energie fitness for 4 years now and I can honestly say its the best gym I have ever been too...the fitness instructors are all so friendly and very encouraging..plenty of equipment to use at anytime of the day. Lots of variable classes which I love along with the PT sessions! Fabulous value for money ..its much more than a gym..its a little family community 💪🫶

The gym’s hygiene has gone downhill. Equipment is often left dirty and members rarely wipe it down, even with cleaning stations available. It’s unpleasant and feels like no one’s enforcing basic hygiene rules. You also see people entering together under one key fob, which is unfair to paying members. Management needs to take this seriously and start enforcing cleaning and access rules it’s not right that others follow the rules and pay properly while some don’t.

I used to really enjoy this gym, but my experience changed over the past couple of months. The music volume has been consistently very loud during certain sessions, and despite mentioning it a few times, it never improved. It eventually became uncomfortable for me to work out. Today, after a comment from the owner regarding my feedback about the volume, I realized I no longer felt comfortable or respected as a member, so I decided to leave. In our final conversation, he told me I was being rude, even though from my perspective he is the one who hasn’t really listened to member concerns. In addition to the noise issue, I’ve noticed the toilets haven’t been as clean lately, and the shower water has been extremely hot with no temperature adjustment. Because of these experiences over the last few months, I can’t recommend the gym at this time.

Im a member of the Warrington gym and Fran and the team are absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to help and make you feel so welcome. The gym is lovely and clean with a great range of classes that suit everyone! I always recommend énergie fitness Warrington to friends and family as its a fab gym 😊

I love energie fitness Warrington, it’s not just a gym it is a family! Amazing classes with qualified instructors, I love pilates and yoga! It’s very clean with excellent equipment, and socially there are loads of events to join, walks, meals, disco nights, shows! Been here 5 years and loved every minute.
