Energie Gyms shut down without notice
The Bethnal Green Energie Fitness closed without telling any of its members, under the guise of a 2 week refurbishment. There is no way of getting your membership cancelled as the only way you can is to contact the gym directly. There is no overarching Energie Office that will take ownership of it, including the refunds for the members who have been charged for a gym they can’t use, some of which have are on annual memeberships. This seems to be a pattern with Energie and you can find other cases of this happening online. It would seems the staff are instructed to do this from what I am hearing. I’d avoid and look for another option if I was you.
