Used Enact to remortgage. Pretty smooth process, kept informed throughout. Got a response via the messaging option when needed and got through on the phone every time I called. Would use Enact again.

Absolutely useless. Sent misinformation on tasks to complete on the online portal, click the link and nothing to complete, On line comunication is a one way conversation, you will not receive a response, phone calls give platitudes nothing more. 3 months of waiting now for a simple remortage
Enact made our remortgage as simple as possible. A really easy-to-use portal, great communication and when we needed to chat, we were replied to really quickly. Thank you!

Just very simple to be able to upload docs etc and keep them all on a secure portal, rather than emailing etc. Maybe could have added at the end a small piece of guidance as to how to keep track of new mortgage (i.e. suggest Nationwide app download) but then I guess as conveyancers, it's not their job.

Simple service. Completed my remortgage on time with the minimum of fuss. The portal could perhaps make it a little clearer what tasks you’ve completed but all in all very good service.
What an awful company - avoid at all costs. Remortgage started over 2 months ago. All paperwork was provided and I made it clear several times it needed to complete on time to avoid moving onto current lenders default rate. On the day of completion I got a message from my broker to advise Enact have not requested redemption statement properly from current lender and they had to go back to ask them questions they should have provided. Now I am left chasing Enact who cant be bothered to help and run around worrying I will have to come up with lots more money to pay for something that should not have happened. No one wants to listen, no one wants to respond. Awful company with no consideration to customers.
First class service! Progress updated regularly on the easy to access portal. Friendly agents that were helpful and informative offered a fast efficient process . 10 out of 10 for professionalism at a very competitive price.
Simple and to the point. There was no hassle and the online portal for submission and tracking progress was really helpful in being able to keep on track with this around work. Would recommend this to others.

Please be careful everyone. If someone recommends these guys, then refuse to proceed. If your mortgage provider uses them, then ask them to use someone else as they are known to cause delays. They caused a loss of over £1.2k due to incompetence/delays. I am now threatening to litigate and their customer resolutions officer is washing his hands of any responsibility. A despicable company.

Appled for remortgage with a bank and the legal stuff was dealt with by Enact. I found the whole process and dealing with Enact a simply process. The App they have is easy to navigate and let's you know were you are in the process and what next steps you need to complete. Communication was spot on with no waiting for a responce. All in all a 100% positive experience.
Avoid at all costs— even if they offer an all-inclusive holiday around the world! Where is my fair resolution? Reference: 00081650/00010148 A deliberately unhelpful process. After nearly six frustrating months, my purchase ultimately failed, and I lost my abortive fee—along with, of course, the Searches Fee (Searches Protected? It may as well have been Unprotected). The most painful part was losing a five-figure sum while preparing for this purchase, only to end up with a total failure. Communication with them is almost impossible—you might as well be talking to a wall and hearing your own echo. At times, you may even question whether you’re still alive, as they barely respond to messages, leaving you feeling as though you’ve hired the wrong firm rather than a conveyancing service. Sadly, they only seem to react to Trustpilot reviews, which may be your only chance of getting a response—if you're lucky. They have an online portal, but you might find yourself the only one using it, as they rarely reply. You’ll also become very familiar with their voicemail, repeatedly told that your caseworker is in a meeting—only to leave messages that will never be acknowledged. Totally unhelpful and deeply disappointing service. In the end, I had to pay the abortive fee and lost the payment for the searches—not to mention that we didn’t even secure the property. I honestly feel sorry for the seller, who was in a chain and had to relist their property at £20,000 higher. The main cause of this failure was a complete lack of communication, which indirectly led to my financial loss (a five-figure sum). If they had properly informed and updated all parties at every stage, this could have been resolved smoothly instead of being left too late—leaving me into a position where I either had to take unnecessary risks or abandon the purchase entirely, when the issue could have been addressed much earlier. I never had confidence in them due to their poor communication, which ultimately affected my decision-making. A total disaster. Speechless. Enact is an absolute failure, and I will never use them again.
