I started out recommending Eight Sleep to others, but I can’t in good faith anymore. When my mandatory Autopilot subscription ended, I lost access to core features of the Pod—things like alarms and programming temperature schedules. These aren’t “premium” extras; they are the basic functions the product was marketed around. On the website, Autopilot was presented as an add-on for enhanced analytics, insights, and optimization. Nowhere was it clear that canceling would strip away fundamental functionality. That feels misleading, and it changes the value proposition of the product entirely. It’s a shame, because the technology itself has potential. But this subscription model undermines trust and destroys customer LTV. It should be a warning to prospective customers and even investors about how the company is structuring its offering.

Very poor service from Eight sleep about status of delivery, after 4 weeks of waiting. Unable to make any degree of commitments or assurances. I believe responses are coming from AI agents and the only response available is that they will send a full refund. Zero attempt to retain me as a Customer. Save time and frustrations and don't order; expect more from a £3k purchase.

I find the 8Sleep product to be phenomenal for my needs. The pods adjusts the temperature during the night to keep your body at an optimal level, not too hot or cold. I own two of them and the service has been terrific.

I ordered the product version with a blanket, but the blanket didn’t work out for me. It turned out I could return just that part of the order and get a refund for it! The setup was quite easy, and the app has been running smoothly so far. Very satisfied.

I work as an overnight nurse and sleep is vital to my existence, 8SLEEP, make it very easy to ensure I am not only getting quality sleep, but able to ensure I get good quantity of sleep with the technology integrated into this cover! Very happy with my purchase, and with the customer service this company provides!

Three months with paid subscription and no working product. They introduced an updated that made an older model obsolete and no fix or timeline for the fix was provided. Shame!

Terrible customer experience. They sell a premium product and deliver the absolute worst customer service. It's remarkable they can sell mattresses at this price point and then act surprised when their mattresses consistently break right around the 2-year mark (typically after the warranty is up). At 2 years and 3 months, ours had a big leak and our options to get this remediated were effectively to sink nearly $2,000 to get an upgrade and have to deal with the hassle of shipping it back to them and then setting up the new one. Why would I commit to a $2,000 upgrade when I'm fairly confident the next one will also break down? It's also interesting to see that only the positive reviews on Trustpilot end up with any response or acknowledgement from Eight Sleep. They seem to think that if they ignore the thousands of customers who've had negative experiences, their brand somehow won't be impacted.

Waiting 3 months for my pod, several weeks after the proposed delivery date and still nothing delivered. It took a while to get to a real person and now I keep being provided generic responses about their team working hard to get the product to me. Their customer service is a total shambles for a premium product. If you read the reviews we're all saying the same thing, terrible customer service, sort it out it's pathetic!!

Eight Sleep is a disgrace. Their product is amazing when it works. But it often breaks and the customer service is APPALLING. You could forgive them if they charged budget prices but they charge premium prices for, what is overall, a horrendous customer experience. Would not but again, would not recommend to friends and family. Although would recommend it to someone who's life I wanted to make worse. Giving them a 1/5 feels like a stretch. What a load of $@%£.

Amazing! I just cant understand why it’s so good, i am dumbfounded! My HRV is way better and recoveries are in the green on my whoop! I dread being away from home and not sleeping on it. Just brilliant

Beware this company. My guess is they are growing too big, too fast. We ordered in June, and received a 6 week delivery date. Tough to swallow, but ok. A few days before the first delivery date, it was pushed by over two weeks. When we responded, we received the first of several useless AI customer service responses. (Of the 12 emails we received during this process, 9 were AI. ) Once escalated, we were told there was a supply chain delay, and that’s all. We reluctantly accepted the adjusted delivery date, until again it was pushed by two weeks a few days before the supposed ship date. Again, we received an AI customer service response, with no explanation, nor compensation. This whole time they held the full price of the product. With no assurance that this date would not also be extended last minute, we cancelled the order. There was no attempt to retain our business, which makes me think they simply do not have the product available. This was a frustrating, fruitless process, with a poor response from the company at every turn. Buyer beware.

I like the site. Customer service is great. They are rolling out a new version soon which will include a lot of enhanced features.

They kept charging my credit card when i told them i don’t remember ordering their service and they would not stop. I had to replace my credit card and it was all a big hassle

Avoid! Placed an order on July 3, still waiting for it to be delivered. There seems to be a disconnect between HQ and the UK delivery company, which for whatever reason the company hasn’t been able to sort out even after 2 and a half months. Today I requested to proceed with the full refund. Let’s see what happens. Zero star experience so far, and needless to say extremely disappointing and shocking from a company that charges £5,000+ for a product. Should’ve checked trustpilot first I guess, as apparently my situation seems to be the base case and not the exception.

They advertise to you the bed dynamically changes its temperature and then charge you £212 a year to keep it on. Completely misleading the consumer
