Ecoplex Energy is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The company are extremely frustrating to deal with with poor customer service. Calls not going through and not answering emails. Called out to install but short cable and no reinstallation date. I'm at the stage I'm looking to cancel and get deposit back.
Zero customer service when things went wrong, which they did. Instillation delayed and then didn't turn up on day of installation. Once system was installed, it wasn't working, they insisted it was until I paid for an independent electrician to come and confirm that it wasn't working. Unable to get on the phone despite many attempts. They didn't submit the NC6 form for over a month AFTER installation, after I had to remind them. So many emails just ignored, staff were rude when they did respond. Had to pay for a second time for an electrician to come and fix work they said was fine.
Fantastic Service & Products, 2 week turn around from survey and quote now up and running. From the outset the guys were top notch, Professional, knoweldagable, and friendly. We were so happy with the price also Ecoplex don't charge you the €1800 from SEAI they chase all all that up for you, so no chasing the SEAI for your grant. The guys on site we're excellent from Roofers to the Electricians and great communication from head office. All in all a great experience with a price to match.
Had Solar panels with storage battery and Eddy (water heating system) included. Excellent service, workmen were polite and tidied up after themselves also. Had a few teething problems at first, and even though we are in Wexford, someone was sent down as quickly as possible. We are now reaping the awards, happy days. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I got solar panels installed 2yrs ago by this company. The work was shabby. I had tiles fall off the roof after a couple of weeks and 2yrs later (after a replacement battery) it still doesn’t work.
I had Solar Panel System installed by Ecoplex and I was extremely happy with all aspects of the progress, from design the instal. I also have to say I found their back up service excellent. The small few issues that I had once I reported them they where quick to have a team call back fix issues. I would certainly recommend Ecoplex because of the service I received.
We had a Zappi car charger installed by Ecoplex recently. We got an email from Ecoplex a few days before installation to inform us that they would be at our house around 10am. 10am came around and no sign of any ecoplex employee, 11am ... no sign ... 12 Midday ... no sign ... 1pm no sign and still no phonecall to let us know that they were running late. At 4pm I rang Ecoplex asking where they were and to question why no one had updated us on this delay. The lady on the phone laughed and said they are running late. Eventually, at 7pm that night, Ecoplex employees came to our house to install the Zappi. This was a whole 8 hours after they told us they would be at our house. They provided us with no update that they were running late until I made contact with them. This was so disrespectful of our time and I would not recommend this company. The charger has been installed for 2 weeks now and no one has called to follow up on my complaint.
Arron the electrician and his colleagues were extremely neat and tidy and explained everything in detail. They were all friendly and curtious. Answered any questions we had as we are new to solar power.
Great experience from the get go, from informative survey, following up with the quote and scheduling the works. Technicians were also brilliant, hard working lads and always keeping me in the loop about the order of works to be carried out and estimate time of finishing so I can plan my day accordingly. I must say I picked them as they were the most competitive in terms of price but would recommend them without hesitation due to important factors like pride in work, quality, communication.
Ecoplex was very thorough throughout the process of installation of my 10 solar panels. David was very professional, swift to respond to queries with adequate clarifications made where needed. The team of electrician and panel installers were friendly, diligent and their work was very neat. I am enjoying my solar system very well so far so good. Highly recommended.
I called for a quote on car charger. People were helpful and quote was competitive. The install was painless and completed on the agreed date. Recommended.
Having decided to install solar panels, I contacted a number of companies. The response from Ecoplex and the service from the beginning was excellent. Katelynn in sales was professional, friendly and helpful throughout the process. On the day of the installation the teams arrived and carried out the work efficiently, explaining the steps and answering any queries. It was a pleasure to deal with them and they are great ambassadors for your company. I would highly recommend Ecoplex to anyone considering getting solar panels fitted.
