Ecoplex Energy is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The company are extremely frustrating to deal with with poor customer service. Calls not going through and not answering emails. Called out to install but short cable and no reinstallation date. I'm at the stage I'm looking to cancel and get deposit back.
Zero customer service when things went wrong, which they did. Instillation delayed and then didn't turn up on day of installation. Once system was installed, it wasn't working, they insisted it was until I paid for an independent electrician to come and confirm that it wasn't working. Unable to get on the phone despite many attempts. They didn't submit the NC6 form for over a month AFTER installation, after I had to remind them. So many emails just ignored, staff were rude when they did respond. Had to pay for a second time for an electrician to come and fix work they said was fine.
Fantastic Service & Products, 2 week turn around from survey and quote now up and running. From the outset the guys were top notch, Professional, knoweldagable, and friendly. We were so happy with the price also Ecoplex don't charge you the €1800 from SEAI they chase all all that up for you, so no chasing the SEAI for your grant. The guys on site we're excellent from Roofers to the Electricians and great communication from head office. All in all a great experience with a price to match.
Had Solar panels with storage battery and Eddy (water heating system) included. Excellent service, workmen were polite and tidied up after themselves also. Had a few teething problems at first, and even though we are in Wexford, someone was sent down as quickly as possible. We are now reaping the awards, happy days. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this company.

We got our panels installed last week and we couldn't recommend them more. All the staff were so lovely from the start to finish. The installers were so friendly and really helped us with moving our old panels and making sure we were fully happy with the finished results. Cian and Darrell arrived and just when we thought the service and experience couldn't get any better they proved us wrong. They were the friendliest lads and they spent the morning giving us all the options for the wiring and made sure we were happy. They came up with an option that made the whole electrical installation extremely tidy. We had one little hiccup which was our car charger got discounted and the lads were back that morning to fix it !! Couldn't recommend these guys more and I will be recommending them to all my neighbours

I had solar panels installed by Ecoplex last week. Delighted with the work, the team that installed them was very professional and the finished job looks and works great. I cant remember the names of the 3 guys that did the installation but they were fantastic, couldnt have asked for any more from them, their work was top notch. The 2 electricians that came the day after the panel installation team, Cian and Darrell, were brilliant and helped us to find the perfect discreet route for the wiring from inverter down to fuse box, other companies wanted to put large wires through areas of the house / outside the house that wouldn't have looked great, but the 2 lads did a great job. Would highly recommend to anyone.

I had solar panels and an Eddi installed, along with removal of old solar panels. There were issues at every stage. Booked for February but they rescheduled as didnt have a plumber. March, they forgot to book the plumber in for the day of installation to drain the old panels. They decided to carry on and disconnect them and assured that it was done correctly. It was never drained and leaked through my ceiling. I had to hire a plumber to disconnect properly, which ecoplex did pay for, but they never repaired the damage caused. The eddie was incorrectly installed and didn't work from day one. Again I was left to sort this out. Pre-install someone had visited showing me where items would go. This didn't happen on the day of installation. The fitters installed the monitor and wiring elsewhere, no reason other than laziness. Timing is also a serious issue with the company. I took time off work on 2 occasions to be at the house when people were meant to arrive and both times they didn't show without a call. Customer service is also unreliable. But accounts have no issue to ring regularly looking for payment. Don't pay the final installment until everything is working. However, the SEAI department were prompt. They came to make changes for the grant purposes and then the paperwork went off in a timely manner. The Sigenergy system i got is working well and happy with it. The app is detailed. Also happy with the Eddi now its working. Id recommend the system but not the installers. Feels like they don't care if your the opposite side of the country.

From the initial consultation to the final installation, everything was handled smoothly and to a very high standard. Recently had an EV charger installed by Ecoplex. The whole process from enquiry to order was very efficient and the installation went very smooth. Charger was up and running in no time. Would definitely recommend Ecoplex for both EV charger and Solar installation, which I had also done by Ecoplex in 2024 and working really well making substantial savings on electricity bills

Reported problem with my Zappi charger to Ecoplex few days ago . Engineer called by appointment and gave thorough assessment of all linked devices , Harvi, Eddie etc from Solar Panel Installation , This was followed by 2nd visit today for final link up of devices getting me up-n-running again for my home charger. I would thoroughly recommend Ecoplex for their prompt and thorough handling of device issues with Solar or EV charging . Donal

Had my system installed in 2023. Lads were excellent with their job & explained everything work was neat & tidy. I have had a few minor issues but that was down to my getting to understand the system not the company or works. But anytime I need advice the company responded in a helpful way and walked me through the issues. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone that's thinking of getting solar panels or car charger installed..
