Wouldn't recommend

I had solar panels and an Eddi installed, along with removal of old solar panels. There were issues at every stage. Booked for February but they rescheduled as didnt have a plumber. March, they forgot to book the plumber in for the day of installation to drain the old panels. They decided to carry on and disconnect them and assured that it was done correctly. It was never drained and leaked through my ceiling. I had to hire a plumber to disconnect properly, which ecoplex did pay for, but they never repaired the damage caused. The eddie was incorrectly installed and didn't work from day one. Again I was left to sort this out. Pre-install someone had visited showing me where items would go. This didn't happen on the day of installation. The fitters installed the monitor and wiring elsewhere, no reason other than laziness. Timing is also a serious issue with the company. I took time off work on 2 occasions to be at the house when people were meant to arrive and both times they didn't show without a call. Customer service is also unreliable. But accounts have no issue to ring regularly looking for payment. Don't pay the final installment until everything is working. However, the SEAI department were prompt. They came to make changes for the grant purposes and then the paperwork went off in a timely manner. The Sigenergy system i got is working well and happy with it. The app is detailed. Also happy with the Eddi now its working. Id recommend the system but not the installers. Feels like they don't care if your the opposite side of the country.
