Ecoplex Energy is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The company are extremely frustrating to deal with with poor customer service. Calls not going through and not answering emails. Called out to install but short cable and no reinstallation date. I'm at the stage I'm looking to cancel and get deposit back.
Zero customer service when things went wrong, which they did. Instillation delayed and then didn't turn up on day of installation. Once system was installed, it wasn't working, they insisted it was until I paid for an independent electrician to come and confirm that it wasn't working. Unable to get on the phone despite many attempts. They didn't submit the NC6 form for over a month AFTER installation, after I had to remind them. So many emails just ignored, staff were rude when they did respond. Had to pay for a second time for an electrician to come and fix work they said was fine.
Fantastic Service & Products, 2 week turn around from survey and quote now up and running. From the outset the guys were top notch, Professional, knoweldagable, and friendly. We were so happy with the price also Ecoplex don't charge you the €1800 from SEAI they chase all all that up for you, so no chasing the SEAI for your grant. The guys on site we're excellent from Roofers to the Electricians and great communication from head office. All in all a great experience with a price to match.
Had Solar panels with storage battery and Eddy (water heating system) included. Excellent service, workmen were polite and tidied up after themselves also. Had a few teething problems at first, and even though we are in Wexford, someone was sent down as quickly as possible. We are now reaping the awards, happy days. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this company.

The staff are very helpful and honest in giving you information. They cater to customer's needs. They work with efficiency and precision. We are happy with our solar panels. I highly recommend this team.
Excellent service. Solar panels very quickly installed to the highest standard. Also the foam insulation has made a huge improvement to the heat retention in the house. A special mention for Ana Baskin who was extremely helpful
Ecoplex installed our solar panels this summer. They were punctual, quick and spot on with the installation. The guys explained everything to me in detail, so I knew what to expect. I got my grant, no problem, because they made sure everything was sent on time.
We obtained quotes from 5 Providers who all visited our home. Emer our Sales Contact in Ecoplex impressed us with her knowledge and the proposed system. Price was a consideration but more importantly I took comfort from all the process detail dealt with by Ecoplex before the installation. The installation personnel were exemplary and we are impressed with the instal. The panels were installed on 06.06.24 and we are generating at present a 42% reduction in our 2 monthly bills [important for me as I am an Accountant]. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ecoplex.

Hi All, My view on Ecoplex. Firstly, I had a home consultation with their sales team, it’s a pity these guys aren't technically minded about the products to they sell but saying that I wasn't put off too much. In terms of cost, they were fair and open to your budget needs which was important. Secondly installation. The installation date was set, as promised they said they would finish in one day, didn't happen, trying to get a return date was a bit of a struggle but they came back and completed the works. The guys who carried out the works where very good guys both roofers and electricians. After the works were completed, I experienced issues with the operation of the system, I engaged with the office, they were very slow to get back to me which I found frustrating but when thy did come back the guys who carried out the review were really good guys and pleasant to deal with, Would I recommend them going forward yes for sure, is there issues with communication absolutely but to be fair they recognize that which is important and prepared to put things right Overall good experience.
Great experience with Ecoplex. I want to express my gratitude and satisfaction with the entire process of having my solar panel system installed on October 8, 2024. From the initial quotation to the site survey, the installation day itself, and even the accounts and SEAI grant application, everything went smoothly and exceeded my expectations. Although we did encounter an issue on the installation day, I was pleased to see how efficiently and promptly it was resolved within the expected time frame. This level of professionalism is truly commendable. I would like to extend a special thank you to Antonia, who has been incredibly supportive and professional throughout the NC6 form submission and grant claim application process. Their assistance made everything much easier and stress-free. Once again, thank you to the entire Ecoplex team for their hard work and dedication. I am very happy with my decision to go solar with your company.
Avoid. Failed to connect panels correctly, clamp was inverted, zero aftersales support. Weeks waiting for call out. Take little to no responsibility for panels once they have been installed.
