Ecoplex Energy is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The company are extremely frustrating to deal with with poor customer service. Calls not going through and not answering emails. Called out to install but short cable and no reinstallation date. I'm at the stage I'm looking to cancel and get deposit back.
Zero customer service when things went wrong, which they did. Instillation delayed and then didn't turn up on day of installation. Once system was installed, it wasn't working, they insisted it was until I paid for an independent electrician to come and confirm that it wasn't working. Unable to get on the phone despite many attempts. They didn't submit the NC6 form for over a month AFTER installation, after I had to remind them. So many emails just ignored, staff were rude when they did respond. Had to pay for a second time for an electrician to come and fix work they said was fine.
Fantastic Service & Products, 2 week turn around from survey and quote now up and running. From the outset the guys were top notch, Professional, knoweldagable, and friendly. We were so happy with the price also Ecoplex don't charge you the €1800 from SEAI they chase all all that up for you, so no chasing the SEAI for your grant. The guys on site we're excellent from Roofers to the Electricians and great communication from head office. All in all a great experience with a price to match.
Had Solar panels with storage battery and Eddy (water heating system) included. Excellent service, workmen were polite and tidied up after themselves also. Had a few teething problems at first, and even though we are in Wexford, someone was sent down as quickly as possible. We are now reaping the awards, happy days. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this company.

From the moment I met Adam from Ecoplex I felt sure that this was the company to suit our needs ( and we had looked at others) all our questions, fears and limited knowledge of solar energy was soon dispelled and options outlined to us according to our requests, needs and budget. After making our decision the Ecoplex teams were on site within a week or so...the crews worked until just after 11 pm to ensure the promise of a 1 day installation period. The system was commissioned, our grant paper work submitted to SEAI and abundant advice and support throughout, including the deals being offered by electricity providers. The work crews were fantastic, all respectful and first class tradesmen ( good for a chat and bit if crack also) We have sought after care support on a couple of occasions and to our delight..Ecoplex have never let us down ! Never more than a phone call away even though they are based in Dublin and we in the South West. Storm Ashley caused us some concern and Nicola in the Dublin office ensured we were taken care of, above and beyond what we would expect from any organisation. We have and will be recommending Ecoplex to friends and family considering solar panel installation with the confidence of knowing we have had a fantastic experience in the past few months and that Ecoplex is at the other end of a phone if we need them
Had a full solar panel install 2 years ago. The initial install and work by the company was excellent-all very well explained, efficient work on the day and great setup. We had a problem a few months later when changing internet provider (router upgrade) Unfortunately Ecoplex were not great at sorting my tech support issue. They did get it solved-but it took a good amount of time. Recently I needed to reconnect to MyEnergi App. This time the customer experience was excellent. Great communication with knowledgeable staff (Leon). Very good tech support and the issue was resolved very quickly. Happy to see that customer experience has now improved. Based on this I can (again) recommend Ecoplex for the good work. Now both installation and customer support are working 100% !! Thank you
I have just had a solar PV system installed by Ecoplex (10 panels, mounted on brackets on a flat roof, no battery). Anyone I have dealt with so far has been really good. Gerry did the initial consultation - he answered all my questions, was genuinely knowledgeable about the system and advised according to our needs as opposed to excess sales - I was really impressed by this. The initial installation date got changed, by mutual agreement. Unfortunately the electrician was sick on the new installation day but the panels were still installed, the electrics just weren't connected. Ecoplex worked with me to schedule an electrician to come the next available weekend but unfortunately, due to a family emergency, that electrician wasn't able to come on the day. I did start to panic slightly at this point as no-one rang to let me know this so I was left waiting wondering if anyone was going to show. Thankfully Gerry had said to contact him if I had any further questions so I texted him to see if he might be able contact his colleague to find out what was happening. He replied really quickly to say he'd find out and get back to me, which he did. Within the hour the Operations Manager, Stephen, had called to apologise and explain what had happened. He made contact early the next week and confirmed an electrician would be on site the following Saturday and that he would also attend. True to his word, Paddy and his team arrived early on Saturday morning, the system was up and running that afternoon and Stephen did call in to make sure all was going ok. The lads were great, checked the positioning of wires, panels etc. with me before doing anything...I got the impression Paddy could install the system wearing a blindfold, he was very competent at his job. And they cleaned up after themselves! Ultimately I would definitely recommend Ecoplex if you're considering getting a solar PV system. These guys know what they're doing, they were very efficient with the installation and, while there were delays and a slight lack of communication, Ecoplex are lucky to have those invaluably good staff who care enough to fix things that have gone awry and get the job done as promised. Appreciate it, thanks guys!
Excellent, thourough information from knowledgeable salesman. Installation completed in less than a day including essential auxiliary work to commission unit by electrical engineers and additional roof work. After ser ice was exceptionally professional including two follow up calls to ascertain all was completed to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Ecoplex to anyone considering solar panel Installation. 5+ stars!!!
After several quotes and thorough investigation I chose Ecoplex to install our solar panels and associated equipment. That turned out to be an excellent choice. The preliminary discussions were informative without being aggressive sales tactics. The scheduling of any appointments and any necessary updates were always diligently followed through, the communication was excellent. The actual fitting was carried out in a professional and neat manner. A highlight was the after sales service, phone calls would be answered by personel who were without fail helpful and good listeners, and would transfer calls swiftly if necessary. Any necessary follow up from Ecoplex was second to none and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I have already passed on one referral to a friend who installed a system from Ecoplex, the payment for the referral was made without any fuss, and I know my friend is more than happy with the system that Ecoplex installed, even though other companies felt that the nature of his house wouldn’t suit solar panels? I am not in the habit of making recommendations or reviews, but the service from beginning to end from Ecoplex was superlative and I will have no hesitation continuing to recommend Ecoplex at every opportunity.
