Ecoplex Energy is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
The company are extremely frustrating to deal with with poor customer service. Calls not going through and not answering emails. Called out to install but short cable and no reinstallation date. I'm at the stage I'm looking to cancel and get deposit back.
Zero customer service when things went wrong, which they did. Instillation delayed and then didn't turn up on day of installation. Once system was installed, it wasn't working, they insisted it was until I paid for an independent electrician to come and confirm that it wasn't working. Unable to get on the phone despite many attempts. They didn't submit the NC6 form for over a month AFTER installation, after I had to remind them. So many emails just ignored, staff were rude when they did respond. Had to pay for a second time for an electrician to come and fix work they said was fine.
Fantastic Service & Products, 2 week turn around from survey and quote now up and running. From the outset the guys were top notch, Professional, knoweldagable, and friendly. We were so happy with the price also Ecoplex don't charge you the €1800 from SEAI they chase all all that up for you, so no chasing the SEAI for your grant. The guys on site we're excellent from Roofers to the Electricians and great communication from head office. All in all a great experience with a price to match.
Had Solar panels with storage battery and Eddy (water heating system) included. Excellent service, workmen were polite and tidied up after themselves also. Had a few teething problems at first, and even though we are in Wexford, someone was sent down as quickly as possible. We are now reaping the awards, happy days. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision to install solar panels at my home! The entire process was professional, from the initial consultation to the final installation. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly efficient. There were some hiccups with my boiler having a broken thermostat (unknown at the time of installation) which lead to a leak which they replaced the damaged light in my ensuite. Since the panels were installed, I've noticed a significant reduction in my energy bills. I believe since installation of the first 5 months when the sun was shining brighter from Apr-Aug I saved approx EUR500 in my Electric bill. Knowing that I'm contributing to a greener planet makes the investment feel even more rewarding. The app that came with the setup allows me to monitor my energy production in real-time, which is both fun and informative. Scheduled times but note its only allows 4 periods in day & booster button for those pesky teenagers in my house! If you're considering solar panels, I highly recommend making the switch. It’s an investment in your home, your wallet, and the environment. I only wish I had done it sooner!
Great experience from initial contact to final completion of the installation. The roof and electrical installation crews were really nice and worked in a tidy manner. I had some specific requirements and the guys worked with me to find a solution that worked for me and them. We're very happy with the installation, standard of workmanship and backup support from their office.
Got them out to put a ev charger in simple job they were there for hours they made a mess of it electric ireland came out to put a smart meter in a couple of weeks later they said it was very dangerous what ecoplex done so they came out again they said they fixed it couple of months the ev charger broke again got a electrion out he fixed it he said it was a mess of a job rang them a few times to get some answers left lots of emails no response they answered the phone quickly when I had to pay them joke
After writing about my poor experience with Ecoplex on Trustpilot and Google, I have since been contacted by Ecoplex Customer Service Manager. Their apology has been sincere. They were very surprised with my experience, explaining that it was not the way they work. Their Customer Service manager told me that they would send out their team to address the issues I raised. The issues were sorted out within a week! Actually the guys who arrived were nothing short of total professionals in terms of attitude and competency. They checked EVERYTHING sorted out the two small issues I had, cleared up after themselves and left me with a different opinion of Ecoplex. Given my most recent positive experience I am rating them at 4 stars I had ordered a 6.6kWp array, Sigen inverter and 10kW battery. The system works very well indeed, I'm paying less than €30 a month (mainly PSO Levy and Standing Charge) since October! I have this to look forward to for the next 25 years.
Ecoplex did the installation payment was made and all inspections completed in August 24. I am still waiting on my grant because Ecoplex have not submitted documents. I am still waiting to find out when this will be resolved. Since this post Ecoplex have responded and completed documentation. I am still awaiting confirmation from SEAI.
After getting in touch for my requests, they were able to solve very quickly
The engineer came on time & measured the best possible position to maximise the EV potential. The price was great & getting the SEAI grant was very straight forward with Ecoplex doing all the paper work. The system works perfectly 👌
We had Solar panels, an inverter, battery, hot water diverter and an ev charger installed - all in one day. No bother to the team that came out. From Sales through to install, everything was clean, smooth and really efficient. Fair play to them all!
