Right from the beginning Specialist Juston told my partner that his rate was 5% when we asked him was the rates always Like this he said yes I told him that is not what my referral said and they showed me their rate so he made us feel very uneased with his sales pitch and dishonesty though I heard good things about this company from others this isn't the way you enter into a new business relationship! These guys are crooks. I had a collector send them a ucc notice. I quickly paid it off. Because of this they refused to buy my invoices for 2 months and without income I was forced to go out of business. I called and sent emails to the entire company showing I had settled my debt with the collector. I ran my company for 2 months on my savings hoping the issue would be resolved. They refused to acknowledge the ucc release. Since Ecapital has my notice of assignment all the money I made running without factoring was paid out to them which they refused to release to me. I made them a lot of money the 3 years I been with them and for them to withhold my money that would help me get back to work is criminal.

Until I stumbled upon this page, I thought I was going through this nightmare alone so I’m excited and DISGUSTED but not the least bit surprised at how many stories are just like mine. We were part of the Instapay merger debacle but I had already put my notice in to them before anyone even KNEW about the switch and I was in the process of zeroing out my accounts when they took over. I figured that I would continue going through the steps to leave since no one sent or had me sign any new contracts.. however they abruptly stopped giving us our money, they said until everything was paid up, which I got done but still no money.. NOR the money that was in my reserve account from Instapay!! Which went from THOUSANDS to zero as they told me that wasn’t my money and it was just in case one of my customers didn’t pay. THEN try to tell me that my notice to leave was to Instapay and not them and that they wouldn’t honor it so I then sent ANOTHER notice and was told that “contracts dept would be getting in touch with me.” Lol.. let’s back up a little bit.. after taking over Jan 1, we were immediately told that our “acct manager” would be out for the first 6 months due to surgery and then that basically ALL of the other “acct managers” were out for some ridiculous amount of time due to travel or this that or the other thing so getting ANYONE to answer ANYTHING took an act of God basically.. any time we called, we were transferred to the next person who had no clue what was going on whatsoever about ANYTHING really!! So I called the 800# and asked for the “contracts dept” and was told there was no such dept!! So after my SECOND notice, they pulled the plug on our access to their portal and wouldn’t respond to emails and BLOCKED ALL CALLS FROM OUR BUSINESS NUMBER so we had carriers calling that hadn’t been paid that we could give no info to bc we had no access to their systems so we had to have THEM call ECapital directly just to finally get payment. AND THEN sent all of our customers NOA’s signed by me WITH AN OBVIOUSLY FORGED SIGNATURE!! And would not give us a release so we could not work with any of our customers.. long story short, they destroyed our credit and our business and almost my life but for a guardian Angel who helped us pay the remaining carriers they refused to pay, I would’ve lost my house. What I’ve noticed about all of the bad reviews on here and many other forums is that we are mostly small companies just trying to take care of our families and employee’s families, which as we know in small business IS ALL FAMILY!! But we’ve found a growing group of companies who are in the same boat where things can’t be fixed and are fighting back! So if you’ve come across this review and you’ve been scammed by these ppl as so many others have, email fightthefraud dot ecapclassaction at gmail. We may all be small but together we can be a formidable force for justice and the numbers are growing every day so there’s none too big or too small! I have nothing more to lose so, no matter what happens, I’ll continue to spread the word to every forum, website, social media group, factoring association and BBB.. whoever and WHATEVER it takes to save even ONE unassuming little guy from signing with these monsters.

eCapital has raised rates again!! Not only did they do it in August, they did it again in November. Your contract means nothing. Don't sign a contract wth eCapital, they will increase your rates at any whim and because it's in the fine print in your terms & agreements, it's legal. It's highly unethical and that is all eCapital is at this point. Unethical, greedy and despicable. Don't go into business with them. They moved their company out of the US into Canada, so it's tougher to take any legal action. BEWARE of eCapital. I see that they even increased brand new customers rates right after signing on with them. Don't sign on with eCapital. Tell everyone what a shady factoring company this is. Stay away.

I risked taking this job only for the dfw office to be closed down. Why do all this excessive hiring to let go of us! I feel like eCapital used us the Spanish speaking office to get where they needed to be. ECapital didn't give us a heads up or offer us any other opportunities as they have other offices! It doesn't make any sense just two weeks ago we had our door decal put on our door with posters on our walls, offered us jackets, offered us Christmas party! Our "servance package " was a goodbye letter with a date of our last check and an unemployment pamphlet and we are here for you words with you will find something better and look back and laugh at this!! I don't think any of this is funny! ECapital's HR and one of the main boss supposedly didn't know anything about the office closing which I don't believe it is true! The decency eCapital could of had is to let us know when they found out so we can start looking!

eCapital finally showed their true colors today. They shut down their DFW office which was one of the better preforming offices who truly cared for all of their clients. They laid off 15 people with no warning right before the holidays. They truly have no heart. This poor decision impacted so many people as well as their families. Seeing pregnant women, sole providers, single moms and newly hired employees crying and devastated and left in shock shows how heartless eCapital really is. Save your money and factor elsewhere! They have no morals or values and only care about making money. Please read before they delete this review! And I promise you they will!

We have been treated ethically and professionally. We felt like if our small business were very very important to Ecapital representatives. We currently feel great with the service provided and we are willing to continue sharing the word with our colleagues.
