I wish I could give zero stars

I wish I could give zero stars. Always late, like takes 2 hours to get your food. Terrible customer service. Food is cold and order is wrong, like every time. Their “fees” are ridiculously high. Save your time, money, and patience and use Door Dash instead!!

An hour late and half of my curry was in the takeout bag.

EDIT: I updated the score because of the way their customer service handled the issue. But I still had an awful experience regardless. Original story below. My delivery person, Debra, was almost an hour late delivering my order. You'd think that would mean she's taking her time getting it to me. Nope. When I opened the takeout box, half of my curry was in the bag. I spent $20 on a $13 meal so that I can have it delivered, and I recieved half of my order. And the half of it that I was able to eat was already cold. As soon as finals are over, I will be searching for a new delivery app.

Used to be good...

I’ve been using EatStreet for years and never had any issues, but recently have had two very negative experiences and have deleted the app altogether. First, I ordered a deep dish pizza from a local Chicago style restaurant. The ETA was 45 minutes and about 45 minutes into me waiting for my food the ETA changed to a total of an hour and 45 minutes. I reached out to customer service to see what was taking so long and they said they’d look into and that the order would be arriving at the new arrival time of an hour and 45 minutes later. They gave me no explanation for why it took over twice as long as originally estimated and did not offer anything for my inconvenience. Secondly and much more frustrating was the most recent issue. My girlfriend placed an order and was given an ETA of an hour and 10 minutes. We live just 10 minutes from this particular restaurant so we thought we’d just cancel the order and go to the restaurant ourselves to save the wait. NOPE! When talking with customer service they said we can not cancel the order because the driver is already on the way to the store.... so please explain that one to me EatStreet. Why is the driver already on their way to the restaurant if the food allegedly won’t be ready for another hour?? So apparently it’s impossible to cancel your order even seconds after placing it when it won’t even be picked up for roughly an hour. I’m strongly disappointed in the blatant lack of customer service and will not be wasting my money on this service ever again.

Delivery was super late

Delivery was super late. It was marked as dispatched with the tracking showing it should arrive right on the maximum delivery window, but tracking kept increasing the delivery time, when I contacted them they said that the group orders in the general region together, but couldn't offer any updated delivery time. It took 1.5 hrs for a delivery that was stated as 45-55min. It wouldn't be a big deal if they were upfront that "dispatched" has no impact on how long delivery will take (the restaurant is 18min away but it took 1 hr for transit) and had more realistic delivery times, wouldn't recommend ordering if you have anywhere to be within few hours of ordering.

Worst delivery service ever...not once…

Worst delivery service ever...not once but twice I have had an awful experience ..called restaurant after waiting over an hour order was still there waiting for pickup.. informed Applebee's to cancel order .. canceled order online .. first experience waited an hour and 15 minutes then received an email that my order had been canceled would not recommend this to anyone

My food arrived 40 minutes after the…

My food arrived 40 minutes after the 60-minute window. The cold food was warm and the hot food was cold. Some of the items were mayonnaise based and had to be thrown away to avoid potential food poisoning. The restaurant says it's Eat Street's problem, Eat Street says it's the restaurant's problem - meanwhile I'm out $40, didn't get lunch, and can't get anyone to help me.   I don't recommend ordering from Eat Street or Healthy Xpress, unless you enjoy throwing your money away and being given the runaround by customer service.

My account was used 2 nights in a row…

My account was used 2 nights in a row by a thief. Contacted Eatstreet and they said, they would contact us back. Nope! It's been a week. I cancelled my card and it's been a terrible inconvenience. The police say, it's a glitch on Eatstreets part. No matter who is at fault a reputable company should call back. Now when I see Eatstreets attached to a restaurant...I order elsewhere.

I’ve had multiple drivers deliver my…

I’ve had multiple drivers deliver my food to the wrong house. There is no way to contact the driver to find out where they took our food. They do not provide a picture of theropod at our door when they drop it off. When I unselect the leave at my door option to avoid this problem they still do it.

Eatstreet is obviously a substandard…

Eatstreet is obviously a substandard service that is managed by some irresponsible, incompetent if not downright lazy people. They have ruined any customer relationship I have had with at least 3 different restaurants, ad I refuse to patronize their businesses as long as they have ANY active associations with this inept company and it's less than stellar reputation. Goodbye to Oakland Gyros, Domino's Pizza, and Pizza Shuttle. I'll simply go hungry late at night, or just make sure I get enough groceries to rely on. Take a look at the reviews/complaints against this "service". WHAT A JOKE.

Never delivered my food.

Terrible! I ordered my food and expected an hour for.delivery, the restaurant is very popular and always busy. My order was "out for delivery" at 7:51 pm and I didn't get a phone call telling me the driver couldn't find my house until 8:28 pm. I called the 800 number back at 8:44 pm and they knew nothing, and agreed the driver must have just given up. I will get a refund but I did not get my birthday dinner and I got attitude from the 2 people I spoke to. Eat Street has huge problems finding my house, I guess their drivers haven't figured out to look at mailboxes and insist that people that live in condos must have unit numbers/letters even if the mailboxes show that they do not.

If I could put zero I would. This is only the third time I have used Eat street. The 1st time they forgot part of my order. They brought it later so figured....okay human error. 2nd time I ordered they randomly changed my eta time to an hour and a half after my lunch schedule even though I ordered it plenty early enough. I canceled the order. This time...same thing I ordered and was given 30 min eta nearly and hour later they bring the order and the order was completely botched (that falls on both the restaurant and Eat Street --- no verification of correct items to match receipt???? Seriously. ) I would not recommend this site as worthy.

Could give zero if I could

Could give zero if I could. You place and order and you receive it after 2 hours. Terrible !! Not even worth wasting your time and money. You better go get it yourself or end up eating cold food.

Delivery driver didn’t walk 10 feet to door

I use eatstreet for the same restaurant on a regular. The driver always brings my food to the door. I was waiting by the door and got a text from Paul that said he was at the door and to go get it. I’ve never had that happen so I had to get shoes on and decided to give him $3 instead of $5. He told me to keep the money bc he doesn’t take tips. I said why and he laughed and said he just doesn’t. Wish I would have told him why I wasn’t giving him more. Food was barely warm and the restaurant is just down the street.

Boycott EatStreet

Do not use EatStreet - they hire uninsured drivers! If you get in an accident with one of their drivers while they are on a delivery you will not be compensated for damages or injuries, regardless if its EatStreet drivers fault. Extremely poor customer service - Boycott EatStreet.

Don’t do it

I highly recommend not using EatStreet. I had to go pick up my order after 2 hours of waiting. It was sushi so it wasn’t something I wanted sitting around for that long. I asked for them to refund me my delivery fee since I picked it up myself, and they couldn’t even honor that.
