We hide A Renault small SUV for four days in it done approximately 4000 K, so was in good condition. The only annoying factor was a rattle in the drivers door. The service at the counter was good and fast as was the shuttle to the airport The right was okay cheaper than most but like everything these days too expensive. The only other negative comment that I would make is that their shuttle service only goes between their base and the airport. They don’t pick up or drop off at hotels. I know a lot of higher car companies only do that these days but Some will do the hotel pick up and return.
Best rental company in Melbourne
I have been using ECCR every time I travel to Melbourne. The experience was always great on the previous occasions and this time was no exception. Staff were friendly and quick and we got our two cars within 20 minutes. As we chose zero liability the staff did not even go through the cars with us and told us to just drive off. Returning was a breeze also. Just handed the keys to a guy after we parked and all good.
East Coast Cars is a great service and I'll use them again.
I've never used East Coast Cars before and so it was a gamble. I couldn't have been happier. From the pick up at the aiport to collection of the car, and then drop off and lift back 6 days later, I couldn't rate it highly enough. We ended up with what I think is a better car than I had booked (Mitsubishi ASX instead of a MG ZS). The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, with clear communication on how to find the pick up point at the airport and also the drop off procedure. It was a great price for a great service and I will definitely use them again.

Book direct with East Coast.....
We booked vehicle with full coverage through Economy Bookings - big mistake! We will book direct with East Coast in future. The staff were very understanding and when we opted to pay their full cover as the Economy Bookings one did not apply to the actual rental, East Coast upgraded us. Transfer to and from their off airport site was easy.

Great service received from ECCR
Great service received from pick up to drop off! ECCR kept me informed of the pick up process ahead of time, letting me know where and how the shuttle pick up worked. Shuttle drivers were also very friendly an welcoming. I use ECCR when visiting both Melbourne and Gold Coast, and service has always been outstanding.

Excellence All The Way.
Everything about this business is thoroughly helpful and professional. From our initial phone contact right through to the final return of the car all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. All processes were clearly explained and were straightforward. The car was exactly what we booked. It was extremely clean, had low kilometres and was mechanically perfect. The pick up and drop off service from Hobart airport was brilliant.

Great experience with East Coast Car…
Great experience with East Coast Car Rentals. Online booking was very easy and everything was already paid. Picking up the car was an easy straightforward process and their help from the girls at pick up with the documentation was much appreciated. Very easy with the tolls as well, the costs just debited from the credit card so nothing to worry about. Drop off again was very quick and easy and no issues. I would use East Coast Car Rentals again, not only because the pricing was good, but the service was also great.

Highly recommend - reliable and a lot cheaper than renting at the airport. Had a handy shuttle service to transport you between. The driver Terry at the end was the cherry on top - super friendly bloke.
