We hide A Renault small SUV for four days in it done approximately 4000 K, so was in good condition. The only annoying factor was a rattle in the drivers door. The service at the counter was good and fast as was the shuttle to the airport The right was okay cheaper than most but like everything these days too expensive. The only other negative comment that I would make is that their shuttle service only goes between their base and the airport. They don’t pick up or drop off at hotels. I know a lot of higher car companies only do that these days but Some will do the hotel pick up and return.
Best rental company in Melbourne
I have been using ECCR every time I travel to Melbourne. The experience was always great on the previous occasions and this time was no exception. Staff were friendly and quick and we got our two cars within 20 minutes. As we chose zero liability the staff did not even go through the cars with us and told us to just drive off. Returning was a breeze also. Just handed the keys to a guy after we parked and all good.
East Coast Cars is a great service and I'll use them again.
I've never used East Coast Cars before and so it was a gamble. I couldn't have been happier. From the pick up at the aiport to collection of the car, and then drop off and lift back 6 days later, I couldn't rate it highly enough. We ended up with what I think is a better car than I had booked (Mitsubishi ASX instead of a MG ZS). The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, with clear communication on how to find the pick up point at the airport and also the drop off procedure. It was a great price for a great service and I will definitely use them again.

Derrin and Amanda are priceless
I called the main number speaking with a ridiculously patient Derrin. She was so nice, informative and helpful. Then went to the location to pick up my car and helped by Amanda. She was so amazing too! She took her time, patiently explained everything to me and was a real person not a phony! She went outside going over the car with me asking if I had any questions. The price was really reasonable, the check in and check out was simple and when I need to hire a car again, I will absolutely go to East Coast. I hope Amanda is there to help me too! I'd give the location more stars if it was possible

Personal and Kind Service
Staff is so friendly and helpful and they really put me at ease. They are eager to listen to concerns, treat me as an individual, and give a second to none customer experience. I wish more companies were like this today. I have used East Coast Car Rentals in Melbourne and Adelaide as well and had very good experiences. I don't want to book with anyone else.

We have used East Coast several times now, and they are our car rental company of choice. Every time it is trouble free, on both pick-up and return. Staff are friendly and efficient, there are no hidden surprises, and the cars are in great condition.

Great streamlined and efficient service…
Great streamlined and efficient service with good prices compared to competitors. No problems with the vehicle, it was new and very fuel efficient although we probably would have preferred a Honda CRV to the Hyundai Tucson which lacked power. Also, our flight arrived at 5am so it would have been good if we didn't have to wait until 7:15am to catch the rental shuttle. Would be great if Nudgee office opened by 6am.
