We hide A Renault small SUV for four days in it done approximately 4000 K, so was in good condition. The only annoying factor was a rattle in the drivers door. The service at the counter was good and fast as was the shuttle to the airport The right was okay cheaper than most but like everything these days too expensive. The only other negative comment that I would make is that their shuttle service only goes between their base and the airport. They don’t pick up or drop off at hotels. I know a lot of higher car companies only do that these days but Some will do the hotel pick up and return.
Best rental company in Melbourne
I have been using ECCR every time I travel to Melbourne. The experience was always great on the previous occasions and this time was no exception. Staff were friendly and quick and we got our two cars within 20 minutes. As we chose zero liability the staff did not even go through the cars with us and told us to just drive off. Returning was a breeze also. Just handed the keys to a guy after we parked and all good.
East Coast Cars is a great service and I'll use them again.
I've never used East Coast Cars before and so it was a gamble. I couldn't have been happier. From the pick up at the aiport to collection of the car, and then drop off and lift back 6 days later, I couldn't rate it highly enough. We ended up with what I think is a better car than I had booked (Mitsubishi ASX instead of a MG ZS). The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, with clear communication on how to find the pick up point at the airport and also the drop off procedure. It was a great price for a great service and I will definitely use them again.

Great price, car and service
I came upon East Coast car rental by doing a search for the lowest price and their prices are the best. I was pleased with customer service and didn't have to wait very long at all either while renting or returning. The car was fine although not brand new everything worked well. I would recommend them and will use them again if needed.

Clean & reliable rental cars
Cars were clean, reliable and perfect. Support staff who drop and pickup to the airport and back were excellent. Very friendly and courteous. Staff behind the counter were respectful and helpful when asked. Might be helpful if they asked their customers, if they would like a run down of the features in the car. Could be considered as trying to be informal however some customers might not be very forthcoming to ask. :)

Very Satisfied With East Coast Rentals
Extremely helpful and friendly with an excellent fleet of cars to choose from. My car was perfect and the policy was fair and easy to understand with numerous options to insure the vehicle. I really appreciated the detailed information on the policy and the airport shuttle the morning of my flight to the airport. A very efficient, excellent company to work with on a visit to Australia. Probably my best rental car experience in over 20 years of travel.

The instructions for the shuttle bus…
The instructions for the shuttle bus once we collected our bags were very easy to follow and the driver was really friendly and helped us with our bags. Its a very quick drive to the hire car office and the ladies on the desk were very knowledgable and fast to process our car and even had some great recommendations of things to do while we were in town. Drop off and the shuttle back to the airport were just as easy. Would highly recommend!

Over experience
The pick up and drop off service from the airport to the depot was great with very friendly drivers and the instructions provided on the text message for pick up was very good. Because of issues with the first vehicle assigned to us, we were given a replacement vehicle. It would have been nice to have a more comprehensive hand over, which could have saved hassles later on. The issues we had were resolved satisfactorily after both parties clarified the cause of the issue. I would have no hesitation in hiring a vehicle from ECCR.
