We hide A Renault small SUV for four days in it done approximately 4000 K, so was in good condition. The only annoying factor was a rattle in the drivers door. The service at the counter was good and fast as was the shuttle to the airport The right was okay cheaper than most but like everything these days too expensive. The only other negative comment that I would make is that their shuttle service only goes between their base and the airport. They don’t pick up or drop off at hotels. I know a lot of higher car companies only do that these days but Some will do the hotel pick up and return.

Best rental company in Melbourne

I have been using ECCR every time I travel to Melbourne. The experience was always great on the previous occasions and this time was no exception. Staff were friendly and quick and we got our two cars within 20 minutes. As we chose zero liability the staff did not even go through the cars with us and told us to just drive off. Returning was a breeze also. Just handed the keys to a guy after we parked and all good.

East Coast Cars is a great service and I'll use them again.

I've never used East Coast Cars before and so it was a gamble. I couldn't have been happier. From the pick up at the aiport to collection of the car, and then drop off and lift back 6 days later, I couldn't rate it highly enough. We ended up with what I think is a better car than I had booked (Mitsubishi ASX instead of a MG ZS). The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, with clear communication on how to find the pick up point at the airport and also the drop off procedure. It was a great price for a great service and I will definitely use them again.

Smooth and Efficient

Amazing service

Amazing service. Felt very welcomed in shuttle bus hobart terminal to depot at Cambridge. Staff willing to help and meet my change in plans for rental during peak rental demand. Cars of similar quality to the other major firms. Very thankful and definitely be a returning customer.

Great service from the team at the…

Great service from the team at the Perth Airport branch, friendly and welcoming. I arrived 2 hours early to pick up my car which was no issue for them and they even gave me an upgrade to a Hyundai i30 for no extra charge. The car was immaculate and basically brand new I had no issues on the road. Return was super easy and got a lift back to the airport in their shuttle bus. Would defineitly recommend and use again!

Efficient and straightforward pick-up from airport and straight into the car we had booked. No irritating upsell just clear explanation of preexisting damage. Return as straightforward and driver also kindly went back to retrieve something we had left in the car.

I am not usually keen on shuttle buses from the airport but this was quick and easy and really close to the airport anyway. Car was lovely and very new. Drop off was equally quick and simple Would use them again

Really Impressive Car Hire and Great Value

After a very poor experience in the USA with one of the 'big names', we searched for good reviews of a car hire company at Sydney Airport. We found ECCR and were not disappointed. The excellent courtesy bus took us from the terminal to collect the car, where we were the only customer waiting. Collection was simple and efficient. Our car had covered just 3,600km and all of the other cars lined up for hire appeared to be immaculate. The only disappointment was that a previous customer had smoked in the car, which is against the ECCR terms and conditions. Tolls were charged at cost plus small administration fee. In making our booking, we saved significantly against the big chains. I would not hesitate to recommend ECCR.

Reasonable, reliable rentalEasy to book

Easy to book. Once you collect your bags just click on a link sent by ECR and you receive clear instructions where to meet your driver and his name. You can track his location on your phone. Its then a 5 minute drive to their office. Another 5 minutes for paper work & inspection. Then you’re away in a well functioning, clean car. You can pay extra to reduce the insurance excess to zero.

Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service when collecting and dropping off car. Car was clean and in great condition, but did have some external body damage that didn’t affect drivability. The only real issue was when starting the vehicle, was the automated notice for ‘car service’ was overdue by more than 10000ks. With the damaged panel and the notice, It just plants in your mind has the car been serviced or not. Just need to be aware of it. On a big positive, the variety of vehicles that were available, when many national companies are transporting their hire cars to meet peak seasonal demands interstate. In Darwin, I hired the car during the off peak tourist season, so many other car hire companies had their better cars transferred to the southern states, leaving their shitty cars in Darwin. This wasn’t the case for East Coast Rental (Darwin)
