Had cavity wall insulation done

Had cavity wall insulation done. I was quite sceptical and worried about it, I asked Dyson to come out couple of times and double check everything and they did. Had to put it on hold for a bit as well, they were OK with it and resumed the process when I was ready. Had few bumps with appointments and installation, but nothing major and they returned to fix quickly. All the service was free under British scheme.

Unprofessional and inexperienced

Since January 25 I have had several visits from surveyors, assessors, you name it, one of them couldn't find the damp proof course, each time drilling several deep holes in my exterior walls and leaving them exposed to winter the weather conditions. Only to be advised 3 months later that they are unable to go ahead with the insulation, and that they won't fill my holes with mortar back to the same condition prior to drilling. I am now faced with costs to put this right which I will be sending to Dyson.

Absolute joke

Absolute joke. Cavity wall insulation intentionally incomplete at upper parts of house " cos they don't do it" Absolutely rude. After I advised them I would make a complaint instead of infilling the big extraction holes properly, they stuffed it with roofing membrane and patched over with cement on very top of surface. I’ve just wrote a long review

I’ve just wrote a long review, then decided to delete it. The amount of issues, I’d need to write a book. Let me just summarise. I wanted cavity wall insulation under the government scheme. All I got was damage, lies, abuse, left waiting around for no show visits, promised calls/emails, oh and most importantly I didn’t even get the cavity wall insulation, even though it had taken 13 months just to get the “surveyor” on site. You can always tell a cowboy operation, if you ask a couple of important questions, so as not to have your property ruined, they all of a sudden make up fabricated reasons not to do the job. Go figure.

The most amateur company ever

The most amateur company ever. Do not allow these people into your home. They are a disgrace. Disrespectful, unprofessional, untidy, embarrassing.its amazing they are allowed to trade. AgilityEco are no better. Strongly recommend you avoid at all costs.

Do not use!! After service is diabolical …

Dyson came and took out existing cavity insulation in June 2021 as requested by my housing association, another team from them came back a week later to install the new insulation, when they had finished they asked to check the loft to see if any of it had gotten in there, the nice young man came down and said that there was a lot of the old insulation in there! He rang his manager and took photos and said that someone would be back to clear it all up! The same team who took the insulation out came back and took a small brush to clean it up and left after about 15-20mins later,I was surprised about this as the other team had said it would take some time to clean it up, when I looked in the loft all they had done was swept it of the few boxes that was up there, and not cleaned it up at all. I rang Dyson and they said they would send someone to do this. ASI heard nothing I contacted my housing association, who said they would contact them. I have been in contact with my H/A many times since then, and they are saying that Dyson are not replying to their emails. So 4 months after installation I still have the old insulation spread across my loft. I would not recommend this firm to anyone!!

Worst company to help disabled people.

Poor communication and lack of respect. As a disabled person I have been waiting for GSH to be installed and all I get is excuse after excuse (it's been nearly a year). They have no respect for people and I feel they are con artists. Do not go with this company for energy installations. Kate Eckersley doesn't even care about customers, she ignores emails and phone calls but always seems polite on here (do not trust her), their manager Michael Morrall always seems to be away on holiday or not available, they don't reply to emails and when you call it goes to VM. They are happy to take your payments for installations and then that's it, you'll never hear from them again. Please, please stay away from this company, they should be shut down and reported to trading standards (which I'm currently doing).

Uncommunicative. Incompetent. Installation never got done.

I was approached in January by Dyson Energy Services' representative, via my lettings agent, to have cavity wall insulation installed for free under the government's ECO 3 scheme. I agreed, but communication was painfully slow, requiring repeated chasing on my part. A survey was undertaken in March, funding secured, and an installation date finally arranged for June. I completed all the necessary documentation authorising Dyson as the installer. As an absent landlord, I later wanted to know if the installation had gone ahead. The representative did not reply to numerous emails, so on 15th June I contacted Dyson directly via the contact form on their website, but did not receive a reply to that either. Finally I discovered from my agent that the installation had not gone ahead. After further chasing on my part, a new installation date was agreed for 21st June but shortly beforehand I was told that a different installer, Max Energy, would undertake the installation. Dyson's representative agreed to instruct the installer to collect the keys to my house from the lettings agent. Again, I later wanted to check the installation had gone ahead, but again all email and phone communications to Dyson's representative were ignored. When I approached Max Energy, they told me that their installers could not access the property, and that the house would now need to be surveyed again because the rules have changed. So the installation was never done and Dyson's representative continues to ignore email and phone communication.

I would like to thank all the staff.

I would like to thank all the staff for the way I was treated. I was lucky I was entitled to Cavity Wall insulation. Loft insulation and a new Boiler. The work was carried out professionally with all covid procedures adhered to. They respected my home and made sure that they took their waste with them. Gina kept me informed and the work was carried out on time. So its a massive thank you from me.

Cupple of months ago these guys came…

Cupple of months ago these guys came and put some loft insulation into our loft.the just chucked it in over the borded out part of loft,making the loft unusable,stuck some letters to Joyces saying the loft was unsafe to stand on.i did ring up and complain and a guy came out didn't take his shoes of on my new carpet and went up into loft and said it was fine that how they lay it.go with a company that cares that the customer is happy

An Excellent Piece of Work.

The surveyor who called to set up the installation was new to the job, but no less efficient for that. He thoroughly explained what would be done and the potential gain for us. When it came to the installation, the operatives arrived on time and were friendly, polite and efficient. They had completed the whole thing in less than 3 hours. They did their best to remove all the polystyrene spheres which had escaped, but on our sloping drive, they did far better than I thought possible! Very happy with the whole process.

Stay clear

Had central heating fitted with warmer homes scheme. Pleased with getting help to fit Central heating but the team they sent to carry out the job was terrible. Gas pipe put in wrong place. Pipes running along wall in front room when they could have been hidden in bedroom. No holes filled In. Flat was left a disgrace. Furniture all over and plasterboard with dust all over my personal belongings. Mop bucket thrown on bed. Rush job and no respect for customer.
