My agent was very knowledgeable, helpful, pleasant, friendly and very thorough. She gave a detailed explanation and encouraged me to open an account to get points and other perks. She is outstanding. I highly recommend her and Cruises.

Stress-free booking

I initially was booking my cruise on-line on Cruises.com's self service site. I had some questions so I ended up calling. My agent, Rachel, was very helpful and was able to address all of my questions and concerns. She was a delight to talk to and made my booking easy and stress-free.

Absolutely perfect

Cruises.com is a rip-off

Cruises.com is a rip-off. I booked my flight throught the cruise line directly. When Cruises.com found out they demanded $280 fee which I refused to pay so they threatened to cancel my cruise, which I had already paid for and said they are going to charge me a cancellation fee even though the contract says no cancellation fee for another week. Cruises.com said that in the fine print, the deadlines are a week earlier and they have the right to cancel my trip, that I paid for, because I refuse to pay a 10% booking fee they added to flights that they did not set up, I did not order through them, and they had no part in.

Excellent A++

Well! I used to book with the cruiseline but I found cruises.com and gave it a shot! I was skeptical at first but I took the time and did some research and found out it was legit! So! I booked a cruise with them offering so much more than the cruise line and even at a cheaper price! So far so good! I had 1 great experience! And already had booked 3 more using cruises.com, prices can’t be beat!

Not honest about their fees at time of booking

The initial booking with Greg was good and he was helpful and friendly. During our conversation, I asked several times if there are any cancelation fees which he kept telling me no as long as I cancel before August of 2024. I have been caught in that trap before. After booking our cruise, I was contacted by the Cruise company that they had changed the itinerary and was no longer going to one of the spots I wanted to go to. After talking to my husband, I called Cruises.com and let them know the itinerary was changed and I wanted to cancel that cruise. I spoke with Desiree at ext. 33563 who was very condescending and had no empathy after she informed me, they were going to charge me 124.99 to cancel the cruise. I explained to her that this was never brought up even after I asked directly several times about a cancellation fee. She kept talking over me and her tone of voice was as if she was talking to a child. She would not let me speak to a supervisor and told me I had to call back if I wanted one. No customer service skills, rude, and could care less as long as she is getting paid. I called back and spoke to another female who was polite and advised the supervisor wouldn't even listen to the tapes unless it was a $300.00 loss or more. In today's world and with inflation, $125.00 is not a small chunk. I book way ahead of time so I can enjoy some luxuries in life. They said the $100 could go to a future booking with them but that is not an option after the way Desiree acted. The $100 is hidden in the contract you don't see until after you book with them along with another $24.99 fee.

Robin was amazing this is actually the second cruise that I've booked with him the first one we had a big group that each of us in the group worked with Robin and he was amazing the process was easy and the perks are always better than going just through The Cruise Company themselves.
