Not for the first time, a payment has been taken twice. It clearly showed as authorised, but the Fisher Price hipster, obviously distraught at being torn from joking about with the other staff, insisted it hadn't and insisted he couldn't produce a receipt to prove this. So I paid again. And- surprise, surprise- the payment has gone out twice. I think that "cyber attack" is just the tip of the iceberg with these clowns.
Customer service are useless, just casually insisting the payment will come back to me, and I just have to be patient. Easy to say from your side of the fence, you smarmy nits. When I point out that the last time this happened to me (Co-op again) I kept being told the payment would come back to me automatically, it never did and I ended up waiting ten days for them to refund me, I just get "it will be different this time". The shop manager also seemed to find the situation amusing.
Just to reiterate- twice in 4 years Co-op have taken payment twice, lied about what would happen next and dragged their heels sorting it out. They are a disgrace.
