First (insulation) phase completed today by Consumer Energy Solutions to insulate our home, install a air source heat pump and fit solar panels. The insulation stage work was done by Keiran and Ashley. Superb workmanship; they were fast, efficient, very polite and went above and beyond to get all the work done. A 5 star service from two skilled and hardworking young men. Thanks guys you were great👍👍
We had Nathan & Keelan as the insulation installation team. They were punctual, professional and kept work areas tidy and safe. They accommodated slight adjustments, and also made sure all work complied with current Building Regulations, even conducting remedial work on the existing building structure to ensure compliance. They kept us informed at all stages of work to ensure minimal disruption to household activities, and pet movements, going above and beyond expectations. A thoroughly professional and friendly team, who we had for two weeks working in the property and installed very high quality work.
From the first survey in Februay to completion of work in July the company have communicated promptly and efficiently and have supplied tradespeople of the highest calibre. Nothing has been too much trouble for them and every last scrap of rubbish was cleared. They have been a pleasure to do business with.

Very happy with how fast from start to finish. The boys where brilliant and cleaned up after they finished
Good regular communication from the Head Office before, during and after the work was done. All the engineers and fitters were extremely polite and friendly and also very smartly dressed! They worked very professionally, kept me informed as to what they were doing and tried as much as possible to minimise the upheaval and mess. I had a lot of work done all in a very quick turnaround. All in all was very satisfied with everything that was done.
Had solar power, insulation and air source heating installed in may. Due to my water pipe being cut through in the kitchen, I am still waiting for my kitchen fan to be installed. In the meantime, I am left with a circular hole in the wall which is letting all the cold air in from the outside. Beside this I have 3 other issues that need to be addressed including an electrical fault with the isolator switch for the air source heating outside. I have been in contact countless times regarding these issues to no avail. I am currently staying with relatives and have been since may. With a 5yr old and 1yr old, I feel the property is not habitable until these issues are addressed especially with the winter months that are coming. Communication is very poor with aftersales. I have had 2 people come out to inspect the problems over 2 months ago. A few previous minor issues have been addressed however the major concerns are still ongoing. I have to move back to my home in the next month or so due to my relatives now having sold there house to downsize. I will again contact consumer energy in the next few days however I presume I will still get the same response that they 'are waiting for parts' or 'looking into it'.
From surveys through to the completion of the work, ASHP & Solar, no complaints at all. The heating guys were there for three days and were extremely helpful, couldn't praise them enough. The electricians were in and out, and the solar installation completed, all within the same three days. All of the waste was collected a few days later, and the system works great. Yes there is disruption, its only to be expected with the work they are carrying out, but we were prepared for it, and all of the guys were great, they couldn't do enough to minimize any inconvenience. From our experience, highly recommended.
Everything that has gone wrong has. Absolute shambles of a company and a bunch of jobsworths. No carpet protection No dust sheets Plumbing is incorrect to standards Heat pump is wired wrong Heating does not work Mess everywhere Walls unfinished Sockets hanging off the walls No respect for items in the house atall. Tv and Xbox ruined in a bedroom because of dust from sanding the ceilings Bed covered in dust to the point you can’t even sleep in it. Decorating is an absolute mess a 3 yr old toddler could do better. We had a major leak after install and it’s ruined two ceilings and the wooden floor. Now they dont want to know. No contact information provided The workers are bunch of lazy c**** Words cannot describe how P***** off I am. Consumer energy solutions- come back to this house to sort out your mess or I will be taking this to trading standards and I will go on the news also. The men who have worked here will be sacked for their poor workmanship.
Absolutely shocking installation from the start from consumer energy solutions. They installed under the eco 4 scheme. They installed solar pv first of all my brother inlaw is an electrical contractor and is mcs registered and poped in and told the guys to get off the roof the kit they where using was not mcs accredited tiles damaged and bodged with silicone holes in my roof felt that was just the start. 6 different visits to sort it out the electrical installation was not to regulations and is still in a dangerous condition dispute telling consumer energy solutions no effort has been made to resolve the issue the paperwork was incomplete and not tested correctly. They also insulated the internal of the property also done under mcs they have lied on the paperwork stating they where using foil backed boards when they haven't the workmanship was terrible and they returned sevrel times to fill and repair their poor workmanship. Almost a year and still having huge issues. I am now starting lligal proceedings as they are not returning my calls. My brother in law has gone out of his way to visit several of their installs locally and has ripped them all apart not one of them are completed to regulations or have the correct paperwork.
Had the work carried out back in the summer. No complaints as far as the work goes, all done to a high standard and everyone was very friendly and helpful. However, 6 weeks ago our air source system stopped working resulting in us being without hot water and no heating. We have had 3 different plumbers come out to have a look and still no idea what’s going on! No communication what so ever. Numerous phone call to CES, promised a phone call back but had nothing. 12 month old baby in a freezing cold farmhouse! Not good enough.
This company is responsible for ECO4 introduction in my home. There is so much I was not advised about. If you live in an old property then I suggest you ignore ECO4 (stay with oil central heating but buy some quality Solar Panels) At the moment I have turned off the heating system because it was ignoring the thermostats & eating electricity. Solar Panels not working due to weak WiFi signal. A Gardner. Cardigan
