Fantastic. Was so easy to put together simple clear instructions went on perfectly. I had some pieces missing I found the email easily, I contacted them, they was really helpful and sent me the missing parts straight out. Thank you so much would highly recommend these guys!
Ordered a roof rack and it arrived when promised and fitted perfectly. Cheapest company I found online and was delighted vs the cost of some of the big names like Halfords etc at double the price
Absolutely shocking customer service could not get a response from them when I ordered a paddle board which never turned up. Still struggling to get my money back from them through my bank! Avoid at all costs!
Avoid at all costs! Placed an order for 'in stock' roof racks on Friday 25th April and paid for express delivery. Nothing arrived early the following week so I attempted to contact them. Neither phone number on their website works, so I emailed on 30Apr. I also filled in an online form chasing order. Got an email reply from 'MicksGarage' saying they would email 'An Post' and get back to me. Today 06May no response and still no order. Am not confident this will ever turn up - it hasnt even been dispatched. Only saving grace is I paid using Paypal so will now seek a refund through them. Avoid this company. I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing and saved myself this headache.
Ordered a bike rack for my car on Sunday making sure I had plenty of time to receive the rack by Friday before my trip away..
Paid for delivery to be by Thursday (today).
Nothing arrived so I emailed them. I received a reply saying it’s not in stock and will send it out once they get it.
I now don’t have this for my trip which is absolutely infuriating.
Never once said it was out of stock but happy to take my money.
No communication during the week regarding it being out of stock either!
Complete liars, avoid them at all costs!!!
Placed an order with this company as their prices were great but after about a week I hadnt heard anything. That was when I started to google and came across the trustpilot reviews. At that point my only consolation was that I had paid directly with credit card and the order value was more that £100. However, i needn't have worried, as the item turned up in good condition with everything complete.
Can't say I am impressed by their communication or the speed of delivery (having paid for fast delivery) but they have supplied what appears a decent quality product for a very good price.

My Roof Rack arrived today, well packaged and all in order. It was supposed to be a next day delivery, but given that it came from Ireland I can now understand the delay. I know many people have had a negative experience, so if like me, you are reading negative reviews post purchase I will provide a ray of hope.
1) CarRacks.co.uk is in fact Micks Garage, based in Ireland, they process the order and facilitate shipping to the UK through AnPost (Irish postal service) who pass it onto Parcelforce once in the UK. Once you've placed your order, forget about Car Racks, the website is a vessel for putting orders through to Mick's Garage.
2) They apparently have no automated system for updating you on dispatch / shipping, so you will have to contact Mick's Garage (MG) via the contact request service on their website and provide your order number to get tracking information.
3) My contact requests were answered, however the responses from MG were consistently sent to my Junk or Promotions email inbox - so check there if you are awaiting a response.
4) Andrew at MG was particularly helpful and even chased my order out of the warehouse to ensure it arrived on time. Still, it is disappointing that there is NO contact telephone number through which you can speak to a Customer Service advisor.
5) If you request a tracking number, you will be passed a number for AnPost, you can track the order to the border on their website with ease. Once in the UK it will remain under that tracking number, which you will be able to use on the Parcel Force (PF) website once the parcel has been accepted onto their system.
6) Your actual delivery reference with PF will change on the delivery day, and they will likely send it to you by text.
All in all, product as described but not in the time frame i was expecting. Please don't order from them if you need your order in a hurry, but if you can afford to wait it will arrive. Keep calm and carry on is the mantra, purchase to delivery took 8 days. I hope this helps!
Ordered car racks and selected standard delivery 4-5 days. I then discovered later on a lot of online hate and poor reviews so I had a small panic to myself. I contacted CarRacks and Mikesgarage who took the Paypal payment. By the time I had a response, the racks had been delivered. All now fitted and I did get a response from Mikesgarage to say the order had been fulfilled. I know there are some very poor reviews but I can only go on the experience I had personally.
