Fantastic. Was so easy to put together simple clear instructions went on perfectly. I had some pieces missing I found the email easily, I contacted them, they was really helpful and sent me the missing parts straight out. Thank you so much would highly recommend these guys!
Ordered a roof rack and it arrived when promised and fitted perfectly. Cheapest company I found online and was delighted vs the cost of some of the big names like Halfords etc at double the price
Ordered roof bars through Car Racks as they were slightly cheaper than Micks Garage (same people I found out later). Dispatch email came next day with a tracking number to An Post (Ireland/Eire). No parcel handed to them!! Damn its a scam I thought. Checked the reviews and thought that I'd been had. Checked An Post tracking again and still no luck. Then some days later went into my shed (postal delivery safe place) an low and behold, the parcel was there! Either arrived that day or a day or two before. By the stickers on it, obviously handed to Parcel Force once in this country but they never bothered to put a card through the door to say it was there. So long story short, thumbs up to Car Racks/Micks Garage. All delivered in 7 - 9 days.
Absolutely terrible, would not recommend and definitely would not buy from again!! The item I purchase was sent to the complete wrong place and by the time it eventually got to me it was too late I had to purchase from my local shop. contacted customer services. The reply was “it will be with you soon”I email them again and had no response. Carracks.co.uk/ micksgarage.com!!!
Good service and better than reviews suggest.
The company is UK registered but clearly ships from Ireland so be careful if good are over the VAT limit. Delivery takes a bit longer 4 days but the price is so good it was worth it. My goods were all in good order, customs marked properly so no import charges and delivered with tracking from Irish post system and Parcelforce.
Dreadful delivery!
I ordered item on 31st Jan and it’s currently stuck somewhere as apparently only my postcode is on the package and no street address.
An Post tracking states delivery attempted no one home.
An Post told me to contact Royal Mail. Eventually tracked parcel down via parcel force and they state the sender must contact them to change the delivery address.
I asked Carracks to contact Parcel force to update the address but they repeatedly say they cannot do anything as the package is my property and that I should contact An Post.
I’ve contacted An Post to correct the delivery address but they say they can’t touch it as they’re not authorised to do so.
So I’m over £100 out of pocket without the item I require and no one can help me progress the delivery or get a refund

Ordered and paid for on the 11th, post tracking number issued on the 12th…..still no recognition of the tracking number at the courier website 10 days later…..not really sure why that was. Started to get a little uneasy as Christmas was fast approaching….Items were delivered to an address over 100 mile away and then they said the order has been completed!! Now into the new year and not really got an explanation and do not know what happened so I asked for a refund. Maybe strikes and circumstances beyond their control were to blame. They did offer to resend but I had to change plans as time ran out making the order now unnecessary :( but eventually I did get a refund 30 days after purchase. Judging a company when things go wrong is a little unfair so judging them on how they deal with it in my opinion is fairer! I would shop again but not near a holiday period. At all times they were respectful and responded to all correspondence.
As has been commented in other reviews, delivery is definitely slow - which appears to be a result of the fact that goods are shipped from Ireland. However, to be fair, in terms of quality, price and customer service, I really cannot complain. When the rack was delivered there was a small plastic piece missing. I wrote to the company and the problem was resolved (by them sending me the part) within 48 hours. Once again shipment was slow so, if you are is a desperate hurry, this may not be the supplier for you. I would note that the value of my order was below what I understand to be the threshold where VAT may be collected on import, so the price on the screen was the total price I paid.
Absolutely terrible. Bought Qashqai racks which were delivered to wrong address and eventually turned up after Parcel Force chased the package down.
I’d already bought another set from a different supplier and asked to return the racks which turned up late under their “no quibble” returns policy in unopened packaging and within 28 days of receipt. Zero responses to emails, no calls answered or returned and I ended up with a second set of bars that were now useless. Wouldn’t touch this lot again.
Slow delivery. Ended up taking 10 days to arrive. Customer service none-existent.
Bars where decent quality, but with sod all customer service and slow delivery you could be better off going elsewhere.
Do not buy from this company. They are not based in the UK and you will be charged import tariffs. They do not tell you this and do not respond to emails. Total rip off
The contact phone number on the website doesn’t work. Can’t call anyone. These “HQ” located in London is an address to a different building. Actual location is a different company called micksgarage you can’t contact them either. Expect to pay import and export duties as they won’t tell you where your item is being shipped from.
