***WARRANTY IS A SCAM*** I purchased 3 year warranty at £2000 for my VW Tiguan and was told by the salesman that I can claim for any issues relating to the engine, electrics etc and I would only have to pay a £60 excess per claim with no additional costs. However upon taking my car to VW main dealer as my cruise control and auto parking brake stopped working they advised me that they would only cover labour costs up to £42ph, VW charge £180ph so I am liable for £138ph for every hour my car is worked on which is an absolute joke considering I have paid £2000 for the warranty. Even 3hrs work is over £400 cost to me not including the excess. Only main dealer could fix this issue but if it was a non main dealer issue even a local garage charge £120+ph for labour costs so I am not sure how they think £42ph is reasonable in any way. Please think twice before purchasing the warranty from Car Giant as it’s not worth the paper it’s written on.

31 Days and counting still no response from Car Giant despite advising they will look at the matter what AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, if I could give this companies review LESS THAN 1 STAR I would for sure!!! Car Giant asked me to contact them in relation to my original review I posted, so I sent an email on December 23rd. It’s been 23 days with no reply. It seems they only responded to my feedback to appear supportive, but they have no intention of addressing my issue. I reiterate buying from Car Giant was 1 of worst decisions I've ever made!!! I purchased a BMW X2 68 plate from Car Giant in April 2023 and, despite maintaining it in line with the manufacturer's guidelines, it experienced a major mechanical fault on 20/11/24 the drive chain failed despite the car mileage = 44500 at the time of the breakdown. I filed a claim under the 2-year warranty I purchased from Car Giant for the repair bill of £2,248, but Car Giant refused to pay, citing that I had used a non-VAT registered garage for a previous oil service, which breaks the terms and conditions of the warranty. I used the same non-VAT registered garage for a previous claim under the warranty, which they paid for, despite me advising them at the time that it was non-VAT registered that would be carrying out the work. This gave me the false impression that I could continue to use the non-VAT registered garage for any work required on the car, which I did (e.g., oil service in October 2024). This set a precedent by honoring the previous claim without requesting any supporting documentation or details from my car's iDrive system at the time of making the claim. However, for this larger claim, they demanded all sorts of details. It feels like they are willing to pay out on smaller claims but will look for any excuse to avoid paying larger ones. Their terms and conditions state that you must use a VAT registered garage, but their inconsistent application of this rule is just poor. I am extremely disappointed with Car Giant's lack of support and consistency and have experienced huge costs. I expected better from such a well-known dealership. My advice to anyone considering buying from Car Giant: save yourself a lot of stress and buy elsewhere. I will never buy another car from Car Giant!
This is the second time i have bought a car from Car Giant. The whole process was straightforward from viewing the car and test driving it to the purchase. The car was exactly as featured online. The service was great.

Extremely disappointed with Aftersales team , i was informed yesterday that i can collect my vehicle as all the repair works have been done, however when i checked with Aftersales customer service team my vehicle side mirrors were not fixed , since then i have been giving False promises about receiving a call in the afternoon , then in the evening abd finally at 17:40 i was told that they are unable to check it so now it will be done first thing Tuesday morning. I called the Aftersales team this morning and the same story no one has checked it yet and i had been told it will be done in next 1 hour. One of worst experience of my life as the Aftersales Team have absolutely no clue what so ever and keep giving different time slots which never happens.
A normal car dealership but what made it stand out was the customer service, with particular credits to Mo Chowdhury. Possibly one of the most patient member of a sales team who truly took his time to ensure that I was receiving something that was right for me. I took a lot of time to come to a descision but Mo had a calm and trustworthy demeanour, where I could rely on him to provide honest feedback when discussing the potential cars. Really good experience :).
