Booked two taxis for a group of six. Both arrived on time, but despite my husband personally speaking to one of the drivers to say we’d be out in a few minutes, both vehicles drove off before we could get in.
We were then charged in full for both 'no-show' bookings, even though we made contact and were just moments away. Despite Cab My Ride (also trading as Aryvo) taking over a week to 'look into' the matter they refused a refund, claiming no contact was made — which is simply not true.
Based on this experience, I won’t be using Cab My Ride/Aryvo again, and I would strongly advise others to be cautious where they hold your credit card details and can charge what they like.
Arvyo were great and simple to use. Driver called me multiple times to confirm he was arriving.
Had an issue with payment but after speaking with Cecilia from Customer Support who was very helpful, it all got sorted in the end. Will recommend and use Arvyo again!
Awful! Booked taxi on tues for sat night. Booked for 11:30pm pick up. Get a call at 11:38am sat morning to Sat my taxi is outside? Call office who admit their error but tell me they cannot rectify their error as no availability and so can’t book me a taxi at 11:30pm and suggest I should gave booked earlier 😡 I did but they cocked it up! absolutely disgustingly rude on the phone DO NOT USE
We have booked this company on a few occasions over past couple of years.This is a review that has only the driver review ,and other matters are not relevant CLIVE the driver was totally and completely incompetent ,his address to customers at the beginning of the trip Rude and offensive,he had little idea ,that his demeanour was nothing short of Rude,his driving was poor and I considered dangerous, he tail gated all the way up to Hotel at Heathrow,other than when traffic minimal, fiddled with his radio,couldnt attach his Sat Nav Seriously the worst I have ever experienced It probably makes little difference to CABMYRIDE ,but we will never use them again, on top of all that he put a charge against my wife’s Card ForT2 ,something we had never agreed to and never would ,to us the fare is the fare.We travel frequently to H Row in the past drivers have been exemplary.ARE THERE NEW Owners
We were returning from a cruise at Southampton docks, our outward journey experience was disappointing with the driver being late, however return journey was far worse not only was the driver half an hour late, the vehicle sent was not suitable, we had booked a 6 seater to accommodate 8 suitcases however the driver was i formed 6 people 3 hand luggage, leaving us stranded at the dock. This is the second time i have used this company and believe me my experiencejust gets worse, avoid this company, they are badly organised and even their drivers complain about the poor management.
Appalling response from cab my ride, they were fully aware of the persons and luggage as they provided a suitable vehicle to take us to the port,if they are unwilling to recognise their mistakes and not blame the customer i can not see as a company how they can move forward and improve their service.
Quoted me a fixed fare of £100 for a trip to a hotel near Heathrow T5. Before the car arrived they had charged my card £130…what followed after I complained was a list of lies and deceit , false claims and unrepentant dishonest support staff. You can Google what other people already say about Arjan and his team.
If I could, I would give zero stars! Booked return taxi to the airport and one day before the trip they cancelled. No explanation. When I called to ask what happened, as they took payment and sent a confirmation email, the operator said he needed to talk to management to find out. When I asked to speak to them, he said they were busy... on the school run?! The operator said they would call me back within the hour, but I never heard from anyone again. Unbelievable!! I suppose I need to be grateful they at least cancelled as oppose to a no show which, looking at previous reviews, has happened more than once. I got lured by the cheap price, but it is obviously too good to be true. And it is never worth ruining your trip over a few quid... AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
I ordered two cabs for a return trip from Bitterne/west end to ashurst. Both outbound cabs were over half an hour late and both went to the wrong destination.
At midnight I was called to say my 00:15 cab would arrive at 00:30 and the other 7 seater (which would be taking children home was on the way), at 1am I called to check eta’s and was told I only had one cab booked, the 7 seater. The operator would check and call me back. He never called back. The 7 seater arrived well over an hour late and the other cab never arrived and I never received a call back. Stranded in Ashurst at 1am.
Luckily I managed to book an Uber

Dreadful service. Paid £330 for return to Gatwick. The outward journey was fine, but the pick up was a nightmare. Driver was 2 hours late. No communication from Cab My Ride. We had to phone them repeatedly to find out what was going on. When the cab did arrive it was a VW Touran which is a 5 seater with 2 child seats in the boot with no luggage space we were 5 adults with 5 suitcases plus hand luggage. We ended up with suitcases on our laps and luggage crammed all around us for a most uncomfortable journey home. No attempts from cab my rise to apologise or resolve the situation. This is a company that just doesn't care once it has your bank details. I won't ever use them again and suggest you don't either. Try Viking Cars, they have a much better reputation.
Cab was booked for 6 of us to attend a birthday party 15 miles away. We had booked taxi early so we could go for a few drinks prior to the meal. When taxi didn't arrive at booked time they said they could get one in 40 mins time which would have got us to out meal on time. Again taxi didn't arrive so we had to end up driving. Hardly an apology from company and would NOT recommend using this company. Disgraceful service
I was tasked by friends last week to get us a taxi booking to attend a family party that crossed the Southampton boundaries. That booking wasn’t just for any type of taxi: we needed a 6 seater to fit 3 adults and 2 kids! I started calling the usual local firms that I’ve used since I was a teenager, knowing full well what the response would be: we can book you in but we can’t guarantee you a 6 seater. Sure enough, I got that response from all three firms that I called, so I went to good ol google to look for other local taxi firms and found Cab My Ride next on the list after those I’d already tried. I’d never heard of them before, but with the logo and website looking very legit and professional, I decided to give them a call.
Speaking to one of their telephone agents, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they could indeed book me a 6 seater! For the initial pick up AND the return journey! I must say I felt pretty smug at bagging such a booking!
On the night of the party (yesterday) there was an issue with the initial pick up: the taxi was stuck in the football traffic and ended up being half an hour late. This was handled in a great manner from a customer service perspective at the cab office and the driver was extremely apologetic when he called me en route and when he arrived. He was absolutely lovely and humoured my friends kids when they excitedly jumped in the taxi, waving and shouting hello at him!
The return journey was on time, in fact Harj was a bit early as he told me when I ran up to the taxi in a little bit of a flap as I was a little late! Harj reassured me it was all good, he’d been keeping himself busy on his phone. Harj was equally as lovely as the first driver: very friendly and chatty, despite the time of night. He was saddened to hear about the earlier issues and again apologised for that, explaining he had also been caught up in that traffic earlier.
Overall, despite the challenge with the first pick up, I can honestly say that I will absolutely be using Cab My Ride again, and I’m saying that as someone who has pretty much stuck to using the same firm for the last 20-odd years! I’ve had some horrendous taxi journeys over the years, with some moody and downright rude drivers at times. From my experience last night, there was none of that, just a genuine nature across the board and a friendly reassuring manner from everyone I spoke to or saw, that put me at ease. I’ve also downloaded their app, which looks good so far. Thank you very much for a great service and I look forward to using you again!
