Question everything. If you are legit, what do you have to hide? Why are people kicked out of the Zoom call? Why can't questions be asked before we give away our money? Why sugarcoat everything? Why call it a certification? You're not even given the company name until the end of the call. It's a waste of 1.5 - 2 hours to be told you have to pay and not know what you're getting. Keep reading for more.
The Zoom meeting was going very well, with over 150+ people in there. "We can't take everyone for this job," but we can take anyone who is willing to move forward at the end...ie pay. Jacob spoke the whole time and had so many motivating things to say. You could ask questions about job opportunities, and no opportunity was given at all. That was RED FLAG 1.
Towards the end, after everyone was pumped, we were told we needed to pay for certification, $97/month, in case a "mistake is made," we would be covered. I was hesitant, and of course, was waiting for the “catch" because there usually is one. No surprise there was. RED FLAG 2. Especially with the ad that I've seen for over a month now, I wondered how someone could make so much money for Data Entry or CSR work.
In addition, I am a skeptic and not one to spend money without knowing what I am getting or getting into, which was still unclear as the chat was closed and could only be sent to or seen by Jacob.
Once I got to the site, the link to pay for the "certification" said: " The Travel Agent Certification is a professional requirement that allows you to access exclusive travel deals, book trips for clients, and earn commission on every booking." That description does not sound like a certification, it sounds like every business opportunity where you must invest into it.
Needless to say, towards the end, people started dropping off the call like flies. Not many of us have $97 (month) just to give away, based solely on the words of one person who gave no opportunity ask questions or answer them. The way things were explained in the call made it sound like a legit JOB.
Once you paid the $97, first, you get the training materials to begin. Details taken from a couple of other reviews state that leads are provided to you, and you reach out to DATA ENTRY or CSR, ask questions regarding what clients want to book for their travel, and then you submit, but don't quote me.
They stated it is "their clients"... Whether this is legit or not, I have no idea, but ALL IN ALL, this was more of a sales pitch. I chose not to move forward. Too many inconsistencies. Choose for yourself, I am just giving an account of my experience on touching on a couple of others stated here.
Lastly, the comment about the person who got kicked out of the meeting for posting a review he found online regarding other ALIASES is another RED FLAG. In addition, the majority of the reviews posted on this particular alias only go back to January 2025 or so. If you have been in business for 20, 30 years, or however long we told you were in Zoom, why don't the reviews go back farther? If the opportunity is so amazing, why arent there more positive ones.
All the positive reviews did seem like BOTS because as stated in another comment here, no one has legitimately stated they have made any money at all. It's just all hopes, dreams, and positive intent that they hope to make money and the excitement at the opportunity, blah blah, but no real results. If this was all legit, why not have real testimonials and REAL people speak on behalf of the company. I have been in other zooms, and that is exactly what happens when an opportunity is indeed LEGIT. It seems there may be truth to the aliases.
All I know is people were paying so I'm sure they made a lot of money just from the $97 sign ups for people paying at the end of the call for certification and training materials, not know what theyre getting into except all the fluff that was provided for over and hour. I didnt believe in the opportunity so it was NO GO for me.
