I recently ordered a pair of Doc…

I recently ordered a pair of Doc Martens (50% off!! & last pair) online which I received within 2 days. Nicely boxed and fit perfectly thanks to the online sizing info (I had to size down on my normal DM size). Would definitely purchase from them again. Thanks Brown's, I have happy feet!

Boots fell apart in less than one season and the customer care in as bad as it gets! I really do not know where all the positive reviews come from?!

I was walking by Browns in St Laurent…

I was walking by Browns in St Laurent shopping Center today . I had no intention of buying shoes but fell in love with lovely wedge sandal. The salesperson helped with the right size. The service was great .. they were really busy but made me feel like I was the only person in The store. I’ve been wearing these shoes all day they are even more comfortable than my go to Birkenstock’s. I’ll be a regular customer from now on 😀

Amazing experience, fantastic boots.

So, I ordered a pair of boots online that were on sale, taking a risk after reading the reviews from 2021 about sale boots being worn and not matching. They arrived today and I am in love with them. They were packaged well, smelled new, no scuffs or anything wrong with them. Both shoes were the same size (which was the last pair in stock in my size). I ordered them on Saturday, July 1st (Canada Day, a holiday no less!) with an expected arrival of the 4th-6th. FedEx sent an email that it was picked up on the 4th (Tuesday) and quoted the 7th as delivery date, but I still had them on the 6th, one day earlier than FedEx's quoted arrival and inline with what Browns quoted! I will definitely order from them again online. My experience was fantastic. I can't rate their customer service because I never needed to reach out to anyone. After reading the old reviews, I felt it important to share the current experience I had.

It's a surprise how they are still in business with their customer service and mediacor products!!! Save yourself a headache and shop elsewhere.

Superior customer service

We would like to acknowledge and commend Director of Sales Wayne Wong, store manager Samson Zeray and the staff for the superior customer service you provide for us at the Browns location Hillcrest Mall. You took the time to listen to our concern and went out of your way to accommodate our needs. We are truly grateful for the compassion you showed our daughter. Prom is a very special time for a young adult. You can imagine how sad our daughter was, when 1 week before prom she fell down the stairs at school and sprained her ankle. On our way to the hospital her main concern was “How am I going to wear the shoes I bought for prom”. It was exceptionally kind of you to allow us to exchange the stunning high heels for a lower heel, overlooking the 30 day policy. The caring and understanding you showed for our situation was greatly appreciated. Your commitment to exceptional customer service is very deserving of recognition. We have always been pleased with the service at Browns however, your professionalism and commitment to customer service exceeded our expectations.

ORDERED WISHBONE SALLY WOMEN

ORDERED WISHBONE SALLY WOMEN - ARTICLE # 0438797. ITS A VERY BEAUTIFUL WHILE PLATFORM SNEAKERS BUT IT HAS A PROBLEM WITH THE ZIPPER DESIGN ON THE SIDE. I THOUGHT THAT THEY CREATED THE ZIPPER SO YOU DONT HAVE TO DO THE LACES FOR CONVENIENCE. WHEN I PICKED UP THE SHOES AT THE STORE, I TRIED IT ON AND BECAUSE THE ZIPPER WAS THERE, I UNZIPPED TO OPEN THE SHOES. WHEN I TRIED TO ZIP IT BACK, IT DIDNT WORK. THE STORE MANAGER HELPED TO CLOSE THE ZIPPER BACK AND TOLD ME NOT TO USE IT. SO I TOOK THE SHOES HOME AND TRIED IT ON AGAIN AND DIDNT USE THE ZIPPER THIS TIME. I UNDID THE LACES TO TRY IT ON AND MADE IT EVERN LOOSE. I THEN WALKED AROUND A BIT IN THE HOUSE AND NOTICED THAT THE ZIP LINE IS OPEN AND CAN SEE THE GAP IN THE SHOES. WITH THIS, I DECIDED TO RETURN AND GOT A FULL REFUND WITH OUT QUESTION.

I walked into Browns Shoes today…

I walked into Browns Shoes today expecting nothing more than to browse. The beautiful selection of shoes at Browns called for more than just browsing! Cecilia, the sales assistant was so helpful and so patient with me as I tried on a dozen pair of shoes and then tried to make the final decision. I want to send out a big thankyou to her for being my personal assistant and helping me find the "just right" shoe!

Cho at Browns McArthur a Jewel of the Company.

Today visited Browns at McArthur Glen in Richmond was greeted by Sales person Cho. He is very pleasant and helpful and give excellent service to customers. My sister bought a pair is shoes from Cho And we really appreciate his excellent Service. He is a jewel to Browns !

Today I was searching for shoes at Niagara on the lake outlet mall I went to every shoe store and found my shoes at browns This was after seeing them first and then returning The salesperson was so kind and helpful .Chelsea was her name I spoke to her manager about her service which I hadn’t experienced in any other shoe store at the Mall A great experience!!!

Excellent customer service, great shoes

I recently purchased two pairs of runners at Browns in the Toronto Eaton Centre. Susan and other staff were most friendly and helpful. Shortly thereafter I had some issues and returned to the store. Angelica sorted it all out for me quickly and efficiently. Thank you for your excellent customer service!

My mother and I were shopping at the…

My mother and I were shopping at the Vaughan Mills outlet at the Brown’s shoe store and had the most wonderful experience with Hermela!! She was so kind and helpful! We tried on several pair of boots and shoes, we ended up purchasing four pair of shoes/boots ! We had just arrived and then we were going to do some more shopping and she offered to keep our parcels for us most of the day ! We arrived back a few hours later to pick them up! She recognized us right away and went to gathered our parcels! fantastic service five star plus!!!

We arrived at 5:30 to their Downtown…

We arrived at 5:30 to their Downtown Montreal store which is supposed to be open until 6 pm to return an item and it was already closed due to a "special event". Noting was announced on their website oron the entrance of the store. Is it really that hard to think ahead and notify the customers about any change in the schedule before doing a 40 minute trip to the store?

Trio, which won the 1st place for the worst boots/shoes I have ever wear

This customer review is for the trio: Brown/Windsor Smith/ Made in China -man made upper leather boots. Congratulation for this trio, which won the 1st place for the worst boots/shoes I have ever wear in my life. The main culprit I consider to be Windsor Smith-Au, but the company is hiding quite efficient from customer reviews submitted in USA and Canada. I am from Thornhill, near Toronto, Canada. The extremely bad: the upper leader “plastic” layer started to exfoliate from the under “textile” support, after only the most 16 occasions to wear the boots (in total in the first 2 years). You can see this fact from the 3 photos I attached to this review. The interesting fact is that the first 2 big areas of exfoliation were in parts of the boots without creases on them. I bought these boots to wear them only in my annual ski days – to drive the car and to walk in the ski village from the parking spot to the ski slope and back. The 2nd use was to shovel the snow after its fall, in which you step mostly behind a plastic shovel in a clean aria. Per year it means the most 4-5 ski days and 4-5 significantly snow clearing days. Of course, I had in the Shoe shop doubts about their durability, but I was tricked by another “Aldo” pair of looks like boots, bought 2 years earlier, which were and still are my winter daily wearing boots. The good things: 1. The sole quality for winter boots. It will survive in very good condition when my boots will go to complete garbage (yes, I still wear them as a punishment for my stupidity-credibility and to remember). 2. Their nice, classic design, at least valid for me. Note: On this site, it looks as, I cannot upload my photos!

Great quality & service

I have several pairs of leather shoes & boots from this company and they are all excellent quality. They are usually true to size, but I sent back my most recent boots & reordered 1/2 size up. They were delivered to my door in within 2 days & fit perfectly. It was free return shipping for the ones I sent back & an easy process. I love dealing with this company, but wish they would take reviews on line. For clothing I always read other's reviews on whether true to size etc. & it really helps both the customer & the business as you don't have to return as much with honest reviews.

Shoes received were damaged

I have ordered Geox children shoes online and they have arrived marked all over with a blue pen. This is the second time that they send me damaged goods. I would appreciate it if they would review what they are sending out to customers as it is such a waste of time to have to return these damaged items.
