Jackie at Bristol Water on 3/7/2025 who answered the phone was absolutely fantastic in every way. I had a new water meter 1 week ago and I didn't really know how to read it properly to see how much my water usage was costing me etc Jackie who was very knowledgeable ,polite,helpful,and friendly ,explained everything I needed to know. I wish there were more people like Jackie answering the phones in other public services. Thank you Jackie

Great call handlers very polite and helped me when moving to a property without a water meter. Then had a lovely engineer come out who helped us.

Ref/3019307. What a lovely lovely smiley happy lad RHYS was this morning. He fitted a water meter to my property quick efficient clean tidy couldn’t have asked for a better lad. We notified them of a leak outside our property that was flooding the road and path. They came and inspected a few days later and informed us work would start the next day, this didn't happen for several more days. The work progress was very slow, left the road and my driveway in a right mess with the path badly repaired and the turf in a right state.

Absolutely shocking service from Bristol Water. Received a Bill showing 4 times normal consumption. I challenged it and was told to check the meter in the street and given the meter number. A retired person on his hand and knees checking for a meter number that wasn’t there was not ideal. The earliest appointment would be in a couple of weeks for someone to come out and check. On Monday a guy did come out and told me the meter was in fact over 3 miles away and he would update the system. I then called Bristol Water who informed me they didn’t have the correct meter reading. I asked could they please raise a complaint and was asked “What do you want from the complaint?” I asked for someone senior to call me. I’m still waiting….

I recently had to contact Bristol water as I’d received a larger than usual bill. The service I received has been outstanding . Today I visited by Sam who cleared the chamber to the water meter and was super helpful in sorting the problem and providing me with the new correct reading . I then spoke to Jackie in billing , again , very helpful and friendly and no waiting in a queue to be answered . Five star service ….. Thankyou

Absolute nightmare to deal with. Constantly promise callbacks never to give any, never give any consistent information. I followed an inspectors advice now I am being threatened with prosecution, yet any attempt I make to get the issue rectified is ignored. They aren't even sure the problem is on my property yet are happy to threaten me. Basically con men just chancing it. The way they spoke to my wife and laughed at her asking questions is disgraceful. Funny how when I rung and spoke the guys attitude was completely different. Unfortunately as with utilities here, we have no choice but to deal with this lot, hense they can treat people as poorly as they want.

We were moving house and needed to let Bristol Water know. They answered the phone immediately, were friendly and knowledgeable, and provided advice quickly and efficiently. Exactly what you want and expect when you ring a utility company but so rarely get. Well done Bristol Water.
