I appreciate my therapist very much, he listens and he gives me practical advice to help me improve
Brightside Health has mixed reviews from customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
Therapist Joyce is amazing
I had a very pleasent experience and will be booking again!
Compassionate and honest. It’s what I need to hear and I get to say what I need to say. Thank you Brightside caregivers.
I have had nothing but very detail and understanding treatment from Brightside. I was extremely skeptical at first but k...Read more

I’ve progressed so far since I began with my therapist.
My therapist challenges me. I appreciate his honesty and he cares.
The monthly subscription services are too much capitalism and not enough real help. It's like gift cards. The issuing company hopes I don't use them and keeps the money. In this case Brightside is preying on people who already feel bad about themselves and may not want to cancel the very expensive service because they don't want to confront and actually go through the process of unsubscribing. Plus Brightside charges a month in advance and already keeps a full month of payment, or a little less depending on when the person cancels. This should be illegal. Brightside is supposed to be about mental health.
My Provider
Fake names and profiles are leaving negative reviews, and Trustpilot remains silent. How can the owner identify who actually used their services?
Got prescribed the worst sleeping drug that gave me the worst side effects. Bright side surprises me with a $300 bill 3 months later after accepting my insurance on the app months ago. Never once did they tell me I wasn’t covered, during before or after the appointment. This is a telehealth scam
Misleading interview and information. They have early 20-something green “therapists” with a complex that just graduated making hiring decisions, showing their completely unethical practices from jump. These so-called “therapists” with no experience are running the show. They say they’re looking for certain and multiple clinicians, the person meets that criteria and then some, and then they say that person isn’t qualified enough. If you don’t fit a certain demographic, they disqualify you. Save your time and your professional license. The reviews here are real- scam, scam, unethical scam. Practitioners on this platform should be ashamed of themselves that they think this is ethical work. The reviews on Indeed are clearly fake to save face for the truth.
I really like the convenience of telehealth. Also my team is very supportive and listens to my concerns.
Sydney is very attentive to my needs and offers very good, sound advice.
Ease of use and great people.
I have tried to get this covered by my insurance uhc dual complete lp1 as innetwork. As a disabled individual who can not drive this would be the best way to get treatment. And as the fact that I'm on medicaid I can't self pay for services.
Terrible and misleading. A genuine scam. I was told the medication I required couldn't be prescribed. I then explained that I wouldn't require these services for therapy, since I was seeking treatment which entailed medication. The meeting lasted less than 5 minutes. I was billed for over $900. Prior to this, at no point was there a cost breakdown provided other than a $5 copay. In the billing statement, there isn't an EOB provided. I won't be paying that money. Fix this issue, remove these charges. Shameful. Awful money grab of a company masquerading as a health service. Honestly, you should be ashamed.
Dr Tshaun Grant couldn’t help and said she would refund my money but hasn’t done so and that was a week ago. I’ve tried 4 times to message them on their website with no avail so I had to file a claim with my credit card company.
I paid $95 to sign in to an appointment for the provider to tell me that Brightside doesn’t prescribe the medicine I needed and that I should call for a refund. The appointment lasted 5-minutes. I called and the corporate office will not provide a refund because it is against their policy. 🤬 After two more calls and a complaint filed with the BBB, I finally received my refund.
Complete garbage. On the ap said that it would be $0 Co pay. Then I get a bill for almost $500. Tried after my first appointment to make sure there was no charge... Well low and be hold a month later I get a huge bill for 3 appointments. This was supposed to be a cheaper, better alternative to being seen in person, turns out it was almost 2x the price. *also no way to see on their website or ap what they have billed or thier billing codes. Completely not helpful when I reached out to customer service prior to writting the review.
Within the first 20 minutes of my first appointment my therapist diagnosed me with Borderline Personality Disorder. I am extremely distressed about this and will not return. I can’t wait to tell my psychiatrist.
Hung up on me during our appointment like I was nothing
This company is a complete scam! I understand there is a mental health crisis, but do not go to these people. We were desperate for help with our daughter and they STOLE $140.00 from us. TRUST ME. This place is a SCAM
Stay away from this money making scam because no one listens to you. I thank God for my therapist because she made me feel like I mattered. I can tell this company doesn't even care about the therapists either.
