Over the last 5-6 years I have gone through 4 Beats Headphones products. My first beats was the Beats Studio 3 I fell in love with the product, that one lasted me 2-3 years before a family member had put it in the washer(It was sitting on a couch). I enjoyed the product so much I wanted to get another, when I went to the store I decided to get both the newer version of the Studio 3's and the beats fit pro's. On a visit to see family in Chile the fit pro's fell out of my pocket in an uber and the location services did not work to find it. Now the Studio 3's at the time was able to last about a year before one day I go to put it on as usual and the headphones snap, I was pissed and thought I probably just stretched it too far, when I most certainly didn't. Now I bought the Studio 3's again and have had it for almost 2 years, a couple minutes ago the same thing happened to me while studying, I go to put it on and it snaps. Luckily I have AppleCare on this one, and will give it another go. But I recommend to stay away because the quality of these headphones are horrendous and built cheap. You would think for having such a large brand name and image the quality for what you pay would be amazing but it is in fact quite the opposite
I'm really disappointed. I purchased brand new Beats Studio Pro headphones 4 weeks ago for $300. They already declined, and I'm very good about keeping my belongings in good shape. There's a loud static noise and a clicking sound after just 4 weeks since purchase! I bought cheap headphones online for $40, and they work better than the Beats Studio Pro. Never again! Buyer beware!
I have the White Wireless Studio 3 Beats Headphones. After only a couple of years the ear cushions have disintegrated... leaving white flecks around my ears and face after use. I went to see if I could replace these parts of the headphones as they are otherwise in good working condition. I couldn't believe it when the guy in the apple store suggested it would be cheaper to just get a new set of headphones. It is absolutely shocking and very much what is wrong with the world - just throw it away and get new ones - How mad is that?! I won't be buying anything made by or connected to Beats purely because they clearly take no care, responsibility or thought about the life time of their products or the impact on the environment.
First off fairly alright except for some connecting issues but a few months later the headphones just randomly wouldn’t turn on at all, no lights showing, no signal, nothing.
I bought the Powerbeats Pro True Wireless Bluetooth headphones to use for running on the basis that having an Apple chip might make them compatible with my iphone. Not so. Pairing them proved to be a nightmare with devices "not found" despite being adjacent. When eventually paired whether they connect or not is a random occurence, sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Which means that they can randomly connect when sealed in their box leaving calls and music on my iphone still open without being able to hear them from the phone. I've only had them four months but the battery life for them is much shorter than advertised, sometimes only lasting an hour or two and frequently one headphone, left or right, will fail before the other. Finally, they often fail to connect if there is no wi-fi signal, despite their supposed Bluetooth capability.
Recently my mom ordered me a pair of the PowerBeats Pro by Dre. I have had the BeatsbyDre Pro in the style of just the ear bud without the attachment. Both sets are absolutely amazing!! The sound and all the little extra amenities they come with set them apart from any other brand I feel. Never will I use any other Brand, but Beats by Dre. To me he has mastered headphones.
I bought a pair of wireless Powerbeats Earbuds and had issues since day 1. First, one of the two batteries was disconnecting significantly earlier than the other, than after 6 months the connection with the bluetooth started to go on and off on its own, blocking the sound. Six years ago i also bought a Beats speaker and the quality was very average considering the price paid. Furthermore the battery was not lasting long at all.
Bought a year ago beats studio buds+, and the battery started deteriorating few months ago. Prior to these, I had fit pro and i thought that sudden battery drain after 10/11 month is just a coincidence...... however, same happened to buds+. Very disappointing. By the way, I also use other brands, apple and bose, for different activities, wok etc, had them for years and no issues. Beats - never again!!
I bought $250 latest beats studio plus in hopes that it has the same chip as apple earpods but with no stem. In the first few weeks the connection started to drop and now i have to live with it as it happens all the time. I do not have patience to go to customer service and get support reason being there will be some charge to fix them. Also the battery became useless very quickly. It was a mistake to ignore fellow reviewers comments.
Very very bad quality, definitely I don't recommend this product at all I bought beats fit pro the quality for sound bad, when I am talk on Bluetooth always there is bad noise and people complain about the quality of the sound,at the same time never ever charge full maximum 94% stay away from this product
What everyone said! Rubbish!
Bought the Beats Pro headphones. Nothing but issues with them. Returned the first set, wish I returned the second/replacement’s. They have issues charging in the box and when you go to put them on they have an issue connecting (always one side). Good sound when they work, I wish the company would address the charging issues and maybe provide an alternative plug in option to charge.
Powerbeats pro bought in June 2023 for £179. These are the absolutely biggest waste of money I have ever encountered. The first pair wouldn't charge after 10 months and were returned to Currys. I was given them back after repair but they were clearly a replacement pair. These now charge but the left doesn't connect. Complete waste of money, pitiful quality, and if I could give a zero star I would. Do yourself a favour and avoid these at all costs.
Powerbeats Pro do not connect to any of my devices after a year and are now not covered by Apple warranty. I was instructed by apple to bring them to my nearest Apple repair centre and quoted €285 to fix plus €30 to get them back even if not going through with gettingthem fixed! An absolute joke! Apple are making money in every which way charging premium prices for a most certainly NOT premium product! Such time and money wasted on this!
Great headphones expect the fact their only 3 years old and 1 ear bud keeps disconnecting when fully charged tbh should be refunded or replace the item considering they were over 300 fkn dollars
shi*tty overpriced earbuds ! you don't pay the quality, you pay the brand, i maybe have used it less than 50 times in 5 years and it does even charging up now
I bought earbuds for 179 pounds that were supposed to be sweat and water resistant. They were intermittent in charging from the start. I kept them clean and dry and wiped them after every use. I sent them back after about 12 uses for repair. I got told by Apple that they are no longer under warranty as the contact shows liquid corrosion. To be clear, this contact is the outside of the buds that are supposed to be water and sweat resistant. Apple customer services are really awful. Absolutely woeful product. I am currently pursuing the legal process to get my money back.
Poor quality ear buds. Bought them for myself for Christmas. Very unimpressed with these. Expensive buds that are no better than cheap buds. Constantly cutting out, one fails to connect all the time, if I am more than 5 ft from my phone they seem to glitch kinda like a skipping cd. Nobody can hear me if I use them to make phone calls. Not impressed at all, I was looking for good quality ear buds and in my opinion, these are certainly not worth the money.
Really disappointed with Beats Studio Buds, couldn’t believe how poor quality the sound was on these, especially for the price. A pair of €10 buds would be as good. Returned these within a few days and went for another brand.

Beats Electronics receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from consumers, with many expressing disappointment in the durability and reliability of their products. While some reviewers appreciate the sound quality, particularly praising the Beats Pill and PowerBeats Pro, the majority report significant issues with various models, including the Beats Studio and Powerbeats. Common complaints highlight problems such as rapid battery deterioration, connectivity issues, and poor build quality, with several users noting that their headphones failed within months of purchase. Despite a few positive experiences, the overall sentiment reflects frustration over the lack of longevity and performance. Many customers vow not to purchase Beats products again due to these recurring issues. Overall, Beats Electronics struggles to meet consumer expectations.
