Ho noleggiato un auto per una settimana a mykonos tramite il sito Ryanair. Le informazioni contenute sono completamente fuorvianti. In aereoporto non esiste nessun banco di autounion. Dopo più di mezz’ora di ricerca e ormai convinti che fosse una truffa, è arrivato un furgone che ci ha caricato e portato da tutt’altra parte!! I nr di telefono riportati, non sono corretti e non rispondeva nessuno . Il personale dell aeroporto ci ha detto che quello era il nr dell aeroporto!!! Inoltre non sono state rispettate le condizioni di acquisto. Avevo pagato per avere carburante con formula pieno - pieno. Loro hanno imposto il vuoto-vuoto! Abbiamo avuto problemi anche per riconsegnare auto in quanto la consegna non è avvenuta in aeroporto ma alla loro sede! Peccato che ci avessero fornito l’indirizzo solo in lingua greca!! In internet non c’è traccia di questa agenzia . Giudizio pessimo. Mai più

We read the negative reviews before booking but did not believe them. We chose Auto Union because we wanted to support a Greek company. We are from Australia and did a road trip around Greece for 16 days. We were extremely happy with Auto Union. We booked on their website and got a 50% discount for off season. As stated in the attachment to the email they send you, their shuttle was waiting to collect us from Athens Aiport (they wait in the bus shuttle carpark to the right of the Arrivals exit). It was a very short ride of about six minutes to their office to pick up the car, a VW Up. The paperwork was super quick and off we went, returning the car 16 days later with no problems at all. The car was amazing for climbing the mountain roads and speeding down the expressways. We highly recommend Auto Union and would use them again in a heartbeat. We are suspicious of the negative reviews because that was not our experience at all. Auto Union were not scammers. They were extremely professional and reliable. Jason Aloia & Kat Donaghey

I always use the Thessaloniki by the airport office and I find them courteous anf fare priced I was charged once 25€ for hubcap missing but you know what they are a business and not a charity and understandable by me. I recommend them. I used them in the summer 2014 and 2015 visiting from Canada and I wil use them this year George Frantzis

If you see "Interior detail fee" at the counter, run out the door They have cars with designs in the seats. You return the car, they charge you for removing (!!) sweat spots, on all 4 seats, when you are a solo traveler!!! Crooks, with a vengeance. Never again. They have the shaft ready for you before you take off. I had a pic of her hand right on the "spot" prior to delivery!! She thereupon returned!, and she charged mt 70+ euros for cleaning all 4 seats. .

Los vehiculos de Auto Union Ltd, estan maquillados con pésima calidad de pintura, los vendedores te cambian los números que prometen a la hora de vender son diferentes a la hora de firmar contrato, al poco tiempo empiezan con problemas mecánicos y son gastos extras porque ellos venden como estan, y todavía cuando tratas de hablar con el dueño te contesta mal, a mi esposo el mismo dueño le contesto con esta frase QUIEN TE MANDA COMPRAR AQUI, PORQUE NO FUISTE A OTRO LADO, muy soberbio el señor. 😡😡🤬🤬

I had read worrying number of v negative reviews of AutoUnion Car Hire. Our experience at Athens International Airport was totally positive. Staff very keen to help, concerned to tell us exactly how to locate the depot on return, couldn't be nicer - eg made a point of checking the spare wheel and tools. Car had a number of marks on collection, absolutely no problems on return [in same condition]. Our experience is absolutely opposite to those reporting Auto Union as scammers This duplicates a review on Holiday Autos through which we hired. I almost never post reviews - but need to offset the horror reviews.

Noleggiata on line una panda full insurance. Tutto perfetto. All'uscita dal ritiro bagagli abbiamo trovato una ragazza con un cartello col nostro nome. Ci hanno portato con una navetta all'agenzia poco fuori l'ingresso dell'aereoporto. Personale giovane,gentile,veloce. Passaporto,patente,carta di credito x la cauzione di 300 euro. Accurata ispezione della carrozzeria assieme a noi e firma delle condizioni e del livello di carburante. Veloce l'assistenza dell'assicurazione quando ci hanno tamponato sul monte Ainos. In 40 minuti è arrivato un ragazzo della compagnia di assicurazione che ha svolto tutta la pratica di constatazione. Consigliatissimo!

Larnaca, Cyprus Booking.Booked car via internet in UK with Autounion through Wisecars. I was to be met in Arrivals Hall. Almost 2 hours later no one appeared and i had to ask people at the airport how to deal with this problem as the Autounion number just rang and rang. I even tried Wisecars, the broker ( I phoned Ireland at great cost), but they were not helpful. Airport Staff told me since it was a two day hire Autounion will not bother to come out as it was also a sunday! Eventually, traced company by chance through another hire company. i had to use a shuttle bus that i was also not told about. Had it not been for a woman i asked who happened to know them i would have had to hire another car at the airport. I received the car 2 hours late and i would give somewhere between 2 and 3 stars for quality)! Very stressful. Do not use these people! I AM WRITING THIS PART OF THE REVIEW AFTER READING AUTOUNION'S ANSWER. THE LARNACA ARRIVALS HALL IS SMALL.THE PLANE WAS ON TIME. I CHECKED WITH A NUMBER OF THE PEOPLE WHO HAD NAMES ON A BOARD AS THEY WAITED FOR THEIR CLIENTS. 95 MINS LATER STILL NO-ONE TURNED UP. I HAVE PROOF THAT I RANG THEIR PUBLISHED NUMBER 6 TIMES (NO ANSWER) AND, BY THE WAY, MY PHONE NUMBER, WAS CORRECT! PLEASE, PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. YOU ONLY HAVE TO LOOK AT THEIR AVERAGE REVIEW SCORES TO SEE HOW POOR THEY ARE.

Beware fraudulent damage claim's. We booked through argus car hire. The major point was we got a flat tyre, were told to go to a different depo to get it fixed, 3 hours later... We are told we must pay €120 in cash to get the keys back, and they cannot give us a receipt. We get the keys back and it isn't even a new tyre, but a very poor repair job. In addition, the Aircon does not work, the passenger window does not open from the passagers side, and the locking system does not work properly.

I rented a small car from Auto Union Greece at Volos Airport and was very happy with the vehicle and the price. I booked the vehicle online at the company's website autounion.gr and got a very good rate - much better than some of the comparison sites for car rental. The vehicle was a Nissan Micra, with only 16,000kms on the clock - probably less than a year old and in excellent condition. I extended the hire period by two days, then another four days, with no trouble, and dropped the car off at a slightly different location - Volos bus station. The company's representative, Giorgos, was very friendly and helpful and got through the paperwork swiftly. He was waiting on time for the drop-off. I would recommend AutoUnion for cheap rates and good cars.

Wir haben ein Auto ( kleinste Kategorie über vehicle rent-check24 ) am Flughafen Kreta gemietet. Und genau das haben wir auch bekommen. Der VW UP war sauber und gepflegt. Nach einer kurzen Wartezeit ging der Mitarbeiter mit uns den Wagen durch und erklärte uns alles Wichtige. Es wurde NICHT versucht uns zusätzliche Versicherungen auf zuschwatzen (hatten bereits VK ohne SB) . Bei der Rückgabe lief es genauso ab. Der Mitarbeiter kam, sah sich das Auto an und bescheinigte uns, dass alles in Ordnung sei. Tankregelung war in Ordnung. Ich kann die ganzen negativen Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr freundlich . Allerdings ist eine Verständigung nur auf Englisch möglich. Sollte aber heut zu Tage kein Problem darstellen. Wir würden wieder dort buchen.

Illegitimate Business/Scam Artists (warning: please read before considering to rent from auto union) I rented a van and two other cars from this company by making a reservation online. When I picked up the vehicles at the airport the renter gave us the keys to the van without doing a proper inspection. The individual also failed to explain that the person who was signed on the contract as the primary driver of the vehicle was the only person who could return the vehicle and failure to do so was grand violation of the law. These details didn’t seem relevant upon pick up but was later used as a point of contention later when we dropped off the vehicle. We returned the Van at the airport the following Monday. When I parked the car and exited the vehicle an individual who I had never met yelled at me demanding that I give him the keys. This is a person who I had never seen before and it was not clear that this person worked for auto union. Disgruntled, I was adamant and told him I did not know who he was. He continued to yell at me and then another woman (who I assumed was his wife) sternly demanded that I forfeit my “yellow paper”. She was referring to my carbon copy of the contract that listed the details of my rental. I was very uncomfortable with her demand because I have rented many cars before from many different companies and in different countries and that request had never been asked of me. In the end, this company charged me $250 in “damages” to the side bumper that was non-existent. When I refused to pay, they threatened to call the police because my name wasn’t listed as the primary driver. I told them that upon pick up of the vehicle they never explained to me that was important even though I had driven the other cars and I was the person who initially made the reservation. He responded that the people at Auto Union didn’t have time to tell every single person about this rule. I retorted by stating that if this rule is important enough to have to police called then every customer should know. After I made my point, the auto union worker became very angry and his threats became more harsh. He started yelling and screaming stating that he would make it so the police would be very harsh to me. The reason why they wanted my copy of the rental contract or the “yellow paper” was because they failed to do the inspection and failed to sign the part of the contract indicating where the damages were. If I had forfeited they could have forged any details on it and use it as leverage against me. I took pictures of the car after I dropped it off and took extra pictures of the side bumper and it is very clear that there are no damages there. The only reason why I complied to paying this ridiculous amount of money for no damages was because my newly wedded wife was crying and wanted to leave rental lot and enjoy our last days in Santorini instead of arguing with the Auto Union employees. All in all, I will say. DO NOT USE AUTO UNION. They are scam artists and they will suck out all the money out of you. If you DO NOT PAY they will make your time as stressful and as miserable as possible.

Ho prenotato per un mese a Santorini una Polo. Mi hanno rifilato una i20 scassatissima, con 105.000km all'attivo, clacson che non suonava, niente acqua nei tergicristalli, la chiave non funzionava nella portiera del guidatore e quindi bisognava sempre aprirla dal lato passeggero, radio non funzionante. Inoltre i conti non erano fatti in maniera molto chiara.

We reserved at the end of June 2018 a class B car at AutoUnion via they web site. We were picked up by AutoUnion van at a parking about 50 meters from Arrivals at Athens International Airport. We rented the car for 10 days (all extra's, insurances etc. war included in the price) and both the pick-up and return went quick and professional. The staff was very competent and helpful. The car was fine (some small scratches etc. but these were noted at pick-up) and driving experience was fine. No damage, accidents or malfunction during our rental period so no experience with that. The excess damage blocked on the credit card was removed within two days. Overall, happy with the company, good value for money and would rent here again next time.

Beware of very basic car models (Fiat 500 Convertible) - after two summers of decent models, I made the mistake of not specifying *precisely* what I wanted and ended up receiving an unacceptably low quality car for the high price (€95/d) I paid : no USB port, no Bluetooth, no way to charge a mobile, no screen or display other than radio and CD. Unacceptable for a car that “dates from 2017”. They really bought the cheapest option, which was in a very dirty state inside (walls blackened and seat covers worn off)

We hadden een compacte auto peugeot 108 voldoende groot voor 3 personen en 4 koffers.De auto was via Sunnycars met volledige verzekering gehuurd op Corfu . Auto was netjes met slechts 1700 km. In/uitchecken is niet op vliegveld zelf maar in de buurt. Je wordt gehaald en gebracht naar het vliegveld een paar 100 meter rijden. Totale service is goed en we werden vriendelijk behandeld. We had a compact car peugeot 108 sufficient for 3 people and 4 suitcases. The car was rented through Sunnycars with full insurance in Corfu. Car was neat with only 1700 km. Check in / out is not at the airport itself but in the neighbourhood. You will be picked up and taken to the airport a few hundred meters away. Total service is good and we were treated kindly.

Had Autounion bundled into our holiday offer, villa on Rhodes for a week. Thought nothing of it and then when I got the details through I checked them out online. Have to say I was worried, having read bad reviews. I am glad to say that the service was great, a quick minibus transport from the Airport to the office/lot, I would say max 5 mins away, really helpful friendly driver, took care of our luggage. Really friendly, professional and efficient person on desk, was charged for out of hours, but to get such a good service at gone midnight I really didn't care. We were off driving to our Villa in no time at all. Very happy with the service on drop off too and would highly recommend them.

Oh dear, too many negative reviews. We had no real issues, speedy procedure, pleasant staff, fair and thorough pre-delivery inspection ( mind you , I took my own pictures), good and clean car , almost new Hyundi i20, no push for extra insurance, return of the car was also painless, deducted one star, because it supposed to be full tank to full tank, but at the time of delivery it was only half full, so on return I loosed out as the thank was 3/4 full!

ITALIANO Abbiamo affittato un'auto presso AutoUnion di Rodi. Anche noi siamo caduti nella trappola della loro "ispezione veloce"... L'auto presentava numerosi graffi e bozzi, perciò l'impiegata ha svolto con noi una valutazione molto rapida, inoltre in quel momento la macchina era parcheggiata in posizione strategica accanto a un'altra vettura, rendendo meno accessibile la visuale del lato di sottoscocca danneggiato. Purtroppo, ci siamo accorti solo il giorno seguente (per puro caso) di un'incrinatura presente sotto la portiera del passeggero, sulla parte di carrozzeria più vicina allo chassis. Al momento della restituzione l'impiegata (la stessa presente durante il ritiro) ha dato un'occhiata sommaria alla carrozzeria e si è accovacciata, guarda caso, direttamente all'altezza del danno, come se già sapesse cos'avrebbe trovato... Chiaramente l'incrinatura è stata addebitata a noi clienti trattenendo la somma di €300 (versati come deposito in contanti al momento del ritiro) e comunicandoci che, successivamente alla loro valutazione del danno, saremo nuovamente contattati. Mea culpa... Avremmo dovuto prestare maggiore attenzione e scattare foto dell'auto al momento del ritiro! Questo comportamento non solo è vergognoso e non professionale, ma si può tranquillamente chiamare truffa, dato che è un modus operandi ricorrente che emerge dalle valutazioni di diversi altri clienti. State attenti, ragazzi... ENGLISH We rented a car at AutoUnion in Rhodes. Just like other clients, we have fallen into the trap of their "quick inspection"... The car had already numerous scratches and bumps, so the employee took a very quick check with us, also during the procedure the car was parked in a strategic position next to another car, making the view of the damaged underbody side less accessible. Unfortunately, we realized just the next day (by pure chance) a crack under the back seat passenger door, in the body car part closer to the chassis. When returning the car, the employee (the same present during pickup) gave a brief look at the body car and crouched, coincidentally, directly at the height of the damage, as if she already knew what she would find... Clearly, the crack has been charged to us by retaining the amount of € 300 (paid as cash deposit at the time of withdrawal) and telling us that, after their assessment of the damage, we will be contacted again. Mea culpa... We should have paid more attention and took pictures of the car before/during pickup! This behavior is not only shameful and unprofessional, but it can easily be called scam, since it is a recurring "modus operandi" that emerges from the evaluations of several other clients. Be careful, guys...
