DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL PUT A HARD DING ON YOUR CREDITAND THEN YOU WONT EVEN FROM A SINGLE PERSON. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.
The most egregious thing they did was start the process of putting the new lender as the lien holder for my vehicle with my insurance company and the DMV, without me having signed ANY loan paperwork. As part of the process, I did sign a limited power of attorney specifically for this, so once the loan terms were agreed upon and I signed the loan documents, they could easily make those changes. That said, I haven't even seen any of the loan documents, let alone signed ANYTHING. What they are doing is flat-out illegal. When I got the alert that this had been changed on my insurance policy, I immediately contacted the loan specialist I have been working with, and surprise, surprise, I haven't heard back from her. The second issue I had was basically a bait & switch. I had a pre-approval offer of an interest rate that was over 3% lower than my current rate. My goal was to refinance my car for a lower rate and lower payment. The interest rate they came back with wasn't even 1% lower than what I already have, so to get the lower payment, they extended the term of my loan by 10 months. And good luck getting a hold of their escalation department, you can't even leave a message. Thankfully, I have not signed any loan agreements as this company is SHADY AF. I wish I had read these reviews before I started the refi process. I trusted that CreditKarma would vet their partners beforehand, sadly, I guess if you pay enough to be listed on their site, they don't care.
Ryan was excellent throughout the entire process and provided excellent communication skills; keeping me updated throughout each step of the process. Thank you again for going above and beyond!

I was worried this company would be a scam but I researched it first & it all seemed good. I went with AutoPay primarily due to the customer service agent who worked with me. Cristina A was professional, communicative, and never high pressured. I appreciated her approach & it was obviously effective as I did get matched to a company (small but well established credit union) for my car refi loan.

Bait and Switch all the way.. DO NOT under any circumstances do business with this company!! They will send you a letter saying one thing and then, after a hard credit check regardless of how good your score is tell you something completely different. The rate on my letter was 6%, the rate they quoted me was 13%. Shady as they come. Just fishing for suckers and don't care how they do it.

I provided all relevant information to Autopay for a used car purchase. Two days later I called to inquire why I hadn't heard anything. The operator told me they were waiting on me to provide the car VIN. No one told me this previously. She apologized and then said that Autopay was 'really slow' about follow-up! I emailed the VIN and a few hours later was told there are no lenders in my state. I added a star to my review because the operator was friendly and communicative.

I didn't even apply to them. Credit Karma tricked me and next thing I know, they pulled my credit. Their rep called and they have the craziest APR I have ever heard, I have over 800 credit score. This company is a scam. STAY AWAY FROM THEM!!

Their website offers rates as low as 2.99%. I have above 760 credit and they offered me rates higher than I currently have. Steer clear this is a lie. They offered me a rate higher than I currently have! Same terms!

Bait and switch! Do not fall into the trap!!! As many have stated, I fell for it too. I refused a hard credit pull until receiving assurances that my interest rate would be lower (agent’s name, date and time documented) only to be told that my interest rate would be the same or higher than my current terms. I filed a dispute with Experian to have the hard pull removed. I have no idea how or why AutoPay is rated so high. They are clearly unethical, and have no problems telling you what you want to hear only to have it negatively impact your credit score.

The worst company! Sent me a letter saying we could refinance your car: I spoke with an unplaced person. Her name is Nate, and she did not ask if that was a commercial or personal vehicle. She gathered all my info, including address, zip code, first name, last name, if we paid rent or its house, and if it is still underpayments or paid off. I asked her twice if you would look up my info since you sent me a letter and why you asked so many personal questions. She was rude, and after the last question, She asked if it was for personal or business use. I responded it's for Both. She says we can not refinance it. I wondered why you did not ask this before all the questioning. She said Goodbye! Can you believe it's a scam and they will sell all your info !! Make sure to ask if they cover personal or business first before providing your info !!!
