What they did was actually ILLEGAL
The most egregious thing they did was start the process of putting the new lender as the lien holder for my vehicle with my insurance company and the DMV, without me having signed ANY loan paperwork. As part of the process, I did sign a limited power of attorney specifically for this, so once the loan terms were agreed upon and I signed the loan documents, they could easily make those changes. That said, I haven't even seen any of the loan documents, let alone signed ANYTHING. What they are doing is flat-out illegal. When I got the alert that this had been changed on my insurance policy, I immediately contacted the loan specialist I have been working with, and surprise, surprise, I haven't heard back from her. The second issue I had was basically a bait & switch. I had a pre-approval offer of an interest rate that was over 3% lower than my current rate. My goal was to refinance my car for a lower rate and lower payment. The interest rate they came back with wasn't even 1% lower than what I already have, so to get the lower payment, they extended the term of my loan by 10 months. And good luck getting a hold of their escalation department, you can't even leave a message. Thankfully, I have not signed any loan agreements as this company is SHADY AF. I wish I had read these reviews before I started the refi process. I trusted that CreditKarma would vet their partners beforehand, sadly, I guess if you pay enough to be listed on their site, they don't care.

Pretty Seamless
Started the process on 10/15 got my refinance done on 10/29. My rate was reduced 9% and my payment dropped by 117 dollars. Yes you have to provide documents but overall a pretty easy process. This is not to say that everyone will experience the same savings but due to financial challenges my old rate was 20 so this was a great saving for me

The grass is not always greener
Applied June 22, 21 for a refi supplied Autopay with all kinds of documents and was pre approved signed docs in early July was told that everything looks good . . . then around July 15th or so told to get a copy of driver's license of my co signer did that was told by rep from Autopay my docs were being reviewed and my loan would be funded in 3 or 4 business days . . . was excited for a few days and then was told my loan was not approved by lender (Penn something?) wants more info on whether my insurance co knew i used the car for deliveries (I did inform my insurance of my current occupation) seems like deal was falling apart and finally was told the loan docs i signed had an error the lender wanted the loan to be for 72 months not 84 months (who ever prepared the docs made that tiny error or maybe it wasn't an error) told I would have to do the docs over so I still needed to make my current payment on time to my current lender (advised earlier by Autopay no need to make a July payment) decided Autopay deal not worth it as the tiny error would likely increase the monthly payment offered . . . just made my July payment to my current lender . . . got a class in auto refi with this experience . . . hope my story helps someone . . .

Rockstar company. My rep was Helmi Teklu who got stuff done! He took care of both my car loans I don’t know how he did it...he just did! Awesome company awesome dude! Cut my loan payments by 30% totally impressed.
