Excellent Service
I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.

Fabulous boat, wonderfull holiday.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

It was an amazing cruise
It was an amazing cruise. All the staff were very helpful and each contributed to an excellent experience on board. The knowledge of all the tour guides was impressive. Particularly Elizabeth on the Sound of Music Salzburg tour who broke into song whenever we were at a site of a scene - she made the tour come alive. We loved the theming of the menu and wine for each stop over. The entertainment on board from the regular duo, Tori and Dave, was excellent and we appreciated their interaction with the guests and together with extra ones that came on board kept us all very entertained. The Cruise Director, was so helpful and did an excellent job ensuring that we all were where we should be for the tours - not an easy task. Even when there were any problems, like having to change ship due to lock maintenance, everything was so organised for us, we didn’t even notice it really. We loved the whole experience and can’t wait to go on another adventure and we would certainly travel with APT again in the future. Keep up the good work and thanks for a memorable holiday.

Friendly/reliable.…
Friendly atmosphere among staff and fellow passengers. Comfort, safety and reliability of services provided. Choice of menu is varied and generally good, but some vegetables were not sufficiently cooked and not enough of them .

First river cruise, not the last!
We had no idea that APT was an Australian company so it was a real pleasure to share our cruise with lots of Australian and New Zealand passengers. This was our first river cruise and I think APT and Amawaterways have spoiled us for any other provider! Every aspect of our holiday was terrific. We loved that every day was different and we had some truly unique experiences such as the night tour of Koblenz and the concert in Vienna at the Prince of Liechtenstein’s palace. Life on board was wonderful. Delicious food served by friendly staff, cabin staff who sneaked in like ninjas to clean and tidy up after us, a cruise director (Thomas) who clearly explained what we were going to be doing and when. Thomas had a great sense of humour but was capable and understanding whenever anyone had a question or required assistance. We will definitely be going on another river cruise and it will be booked through APT!

Changes to flights
We had our flights changed before our holiday and Alanna in the APT office was most reassuring and efficient when looking for alternatives. She was very courteous and knowledgeable about the best solutions to ensure we will be able to have our planned extra time in Porto before we set sail on our Douro cruise. Thank you Alanna. DCBrown

We thoroughly enjoyed our time aboard The Amareine and were impressed with the facilities and cleanliness. The Cruise Director and all the staff were efficient, helpful and cheerful at all times. The itinerary and associated excursions were varied, well organised and interesting. We hope to return to APT and would recommend the company to anyone considering a river cruise.

A.P.T did well
The ship was a delight and all that was associated with the ship. I had not realised the 99% of passenger would be Australian with only one couple from England and me the only Scot. I was the only one that bothered to dress smartly for the formal dinner. That seems a shame. The return flight could have been better organised, I have said so in a letter to you. Also I cancelled the chauffeur service but there was still a guy there waiting at Edinburgh to return me home.

Unfortunately no testing was done for…
Unfortunately no testing was done for COVID prior to boarding. As a result I became infected and spent three days in the cabin. At the time I did not know it was COVID. This was confirmed when I got home. Apart from that the trip was good and well organised. Crew director excellent and rest of crew very friendly.
