Excellent Service
I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.

Fabulous boat, wonderfull holiday.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

A great all round experience
Well appointed accommodation, great and plentiful food and drink, great staff who looked after you really well without being in your face. Our cruise director’s organisation and communications were the icing on the cake. Thank you Hedleigh 😀.

Have just returned from an 8 night…
Have just returned from an 8 night break on Travelmarvel Capella. Whilst the ship is lovely and new we found it very limiting - only one lounge in the evenings and the dining room quite noisy and busy as the start of the meal was at a set time.We found the food quite bad and cannot believe a qualified chef would serve some of the food we were given. We sent quite a few dishes back after one taste - come on APT people want good food not frilly nonsense eg one appetiser was half a boiled egg & the tiniest grissini ever seen !!! The entertainment in the evenings was mediocre - some passengers very loud and who seemed to think walking round in the same pair of shorts and t shirt for days was acceptable ? What happened to the brochure description that shorts were not allowed in the dining room and lounges in the evenings ? No staff ever enforced that. We also had a couple of issues on the included tours one of which involved 8 of us being left behind in Vienna for an hour as 2 shuttle buses failed to show up and they seemed to expect us to get taxis back to the ship - we had to do this eventually which they paid for but it left a nasty taste - not very organised. Overall the cruise was not what we had expected - it was our first river cruise after many ocean cruises and have to say it will be our last. Back to ocean cruising for us

Disappointing not a 5* Cruise
The meals left a lot to be desired..Portions were very small and vegetables were a scarce commodity .Nearly all soups were comsome , bland and tasteless.A lot of the fish on offer was catfish ,wolf ,char, perch and other river varieties that one would not normally find in a five star restaurant. There was a lot of time wasting at the end of the excursions with passengers wandering aimlessly at the end of the tour whilst awaiting the coaches. Meal times were very rigid and the food in the lounge bar was not fit for purpose with mostly minute triangular sandwiches ? Nearly all staff below management level were exceptional. My wife and I had a 15 day cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam which having regard to the foregoing comments and experiences we found too long.If this is your first river cruise perhaps try a shorter one first .We will not be using APT kings again

My wife and I spent eight very pleasant nights in May 2023 on AMAVenita, cruising down the Danube from Nuremberg to Budapest. We have many good things to say about the trip. Our cabin had a twin balcony design, i.e. a small French balcony and a small outside balcony (although I must say I would have preferred a complete French balcony). But that said, the cabin was fitted out very nicely with a comfy bed and a lovely bathroom. The ship was immaculately maintained throughout, and members of staff were notable for their consistent friendliness and helpfulness. Organisation was superb, with everything perfectly arranged and working like clockwork. The on-shore excursions were well planned, and an amazing highlight of the trip for us was a special Mozart/Strauss concert preceded by a reception in what must be one of the most beautiful houses in Vienna. We shall never forget that evening. Our only disappointment was in the food on board which we found very ordinary and un-imaginative. But all in all, the general atmosphere on the ship was highly pleasant and relaxing, and we are happy to be able to speak highly of APT cruises.

Great organisation and interesting tours with knowledgeable guides. Accommodation, food, service exceptional and staff friendly and helpful. Dave and Tori brilliant entertainment. Would recommend APT without hesitation.
