Excellent Service
I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.

Fabulous boat, wonderfull holiday.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

Amazing holiday
Our holiday was great from start to finish. The staff were so lovely and very helpful at all times. Our tour manager Roland couldn't do enough for you. His trips were so well organised and so informative. The food was amazing. The housekeeping staff were excellent. The restaurant and bar staff great too. We loved everything about our holiday. We did however have to change boats half way thru our 15 day holiday due to water levels. We changed from Polaris to Vega. Transition no problem very well organised. They were identical but we did feel more relaxed on the Polaris. Staff a bit more approachable. We will holiday again with APT Travel Marvel.

Excellent
An excellent time was had by (almost) all. First time with APT and will definitely look to do some more. Tour Manager (Andrew) was one of the best we have ever had. Started out on the Vega and had to switch to the Polaris due to canal being shut due to lack of water. Although the Vega was better in ever respect than the Polaris, the switch was handled seamlessly. Local guides were all excellent.

Dont go near them
Dont go near them! This was the worst holiday we have had for years. Food and accommodation very very average. Always berthed between other boats so you spend the holiday staring into another boat. If you like bad language you will get on with the cruise director. Entertainment great if you like singing along to Edelweiss. When you complain you get the standard we treat all your feedback seriously but as everyone else enjoyed it .. tough! This was not a cheap holiday but boy did it feel like it! NEVER AGAIN..

Wonderful Europe
The holiday was well organised from the beginning at Amsterdam until we arrived in Budapest. Itinerary was brilliant and covered so much. The ships were spotlessly clean and the food excellent. Unfortunately we had to change ships due to water level but this was seamless. Our cruise director Korana is a credit to your company. When our flights were cancelled coming home she was very efficient in helping us.

Almost perfect
Boat great, people great, journey great. Only negative, the meal portions were so small I came away from each meal hungry. Actually lost weight on a cruise.

Stunning Danube with picturesque views
This was our 1st river cruise and we did the Danube cruise from Budapest to Nuremberg. We booked a further 2 night stay in Budapest prior to joining the boat which was organised though APT. APT booked the flights and transfers both ways so there were nothing to worry about. When we joined the boat we were welcomed on board and our luggage had already been placed in our cabin. The boat looked well maintained and very new with the cabins to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable as were all the facilities in the room. The food on board was to a fine dining quality. Breakfast was a buffet but there was everything and anything you could want. There was an egg chef for anyone who wanted eggs done in a particular way. (The hash browns were amazing and the best I've ever had) Lunch was fine dining and mixed between buffet started to ordering the main course. Dinner was fine dining and did hear one or yeo people saying they were still hungry. I like my food and found that it was just enough. I wasn't left hungry but could have eaten more but the quality of the food was amazing. The cruising and river travel was excellent and scenery very picturesque. The tours were very good and the guides very knowledgeable. There was one disappointment and that was on our penultimate day the water level was too low to travel further from Passau which meant that we couldn't visit our next destination and then finish at Nuremberg. We then had to have a 3 hour bus journey to Nuremberg. Unfortunatey we just have to accept that this can happen. APT did everything in their power to make the last part entertaining but it was still a disappointment that we were unable to finish the cruise. On leaving the boat we were given information about our transfer and we would be collected at 7am from our hotel. We thought this was a bit early but guessed that they knew what they were doing. Sadly we got our of our room very early to find no transfer and when we phoned the emergency number, were told that the pick up was changed to 8.30am. Rather annoying as other people had been contacted by the hotel and informed. I don't know if this was an error by APT or the hotel but we could have had an extra couple of hours in bed and enjoyed the hotel breakfast more. All in all, a fantastic holiday and will definately do another river cruise.
