Excellent Service
I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.

Fabulous boat, wonderfull holiday.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

Canada / Alaska experience
We booked the Reflections of the Rockies and Alaska Cruise with APT Tours which we would recommend. There were many highlights to our holiday particularly on the Canadian part helped by our tour guide, Meghan who was brilliant. Everything was well explained and any questions were dealt with quickly and professionally. She went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and that our itinerary throughout the journey was the best it could be. Well done Meghan. The Rocky Mountaineer lived up to our expectations where the staff were very knowledgeable, entertaining and professional. Our cruise to Alaska, was superb. Travel Marvel reps were again very professional and friendly. We have not stopped talking about our Canada / Alaska holiday since returning home.

Balkans cruise on the Danube
Balkans cruise on the Danube. The positives include the lovely modern ship, the excellent, friendly, efficient and helpful crew and staff from all areas of the ship and the quality/presentation/quantity of the food which all came together to ensure we had a lovely holiday. On the other hand the negatives include APT admin/organisation (pre boarding) and the disaster of an experience in the transfer from Bucarest to the ship, which had already left the port before we had any hope of getting to it. However, overall this was a great holiday and yes, we would travel APT Travelmarvel again

Amsterdam to Budapest River Cruise
We were the only English couple on the River cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest. This was a surprise but we thoroughly enjoyed the company and relaxed nature of the mainly Austrailian Guests. Cruise Director was very knowledgeable and worked exceedingly hard to see that all guests had a great time. Food was amongst the best I have experienced on a cruise holiday and We are both looking forward to our next APT cruise.

Travelmarvel Cruise Budapest to Amsterdam,
Excellent and clear pre-cruise information received. Travel arrangements precise and carried out to the letter. Ship modern and very user friendly. Food excellent fine dining. Excursions well planned and very informative. The necessity to change ships after 7 days through water shortage in the Danube was carried out efficiently and as advised. Very little impact on the cruise programme

A cruise "on the cheap"
A cruise "on the cheap". Although we paid more than we usually do with other companies. Ice cream for desert every lunch time. Buffet Lunch with long queues Poor quality guides on some coach trips who were not interested in keeping the group together. Little time on excursions to visit places of interest. "If you want to go into the church - be back here in 7 minutes" An excellent entertainer - but how many quizzes in a fortnight? Lacking in information - "if you want a map of where you are visiting - It's on the wall, "take a photo!" Australian guests appeared to have more information prior to the trip including name badges, luggage labels and detailed itineraries well in advance. Positives. Excellent staff on board (except one receptionist.) Best cabin we have stayed in Good quality evening meal
