I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.
Very high quality fabulous cruise.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

The staff, the itinerary and the special experiences provided only by APT. eg a special concert in a palace in Vienna. First class Cruise Director who appreciated individual needs and made sure that everyone was happy and enjoying the cruise. Highly recommended.
We had a wonderful time on what was our first river cruise. The ship was very nice as was our cabin, and the cabin cleaning staff were brilliant by the way. The food, especially at dinner, was excellent. The ship entertainers - Anna and Richard - were great. A special mention to the Cruise Director, Gunther Callebaut, who was brilliant, He has a lovely, gentle manner but at the same time is very professional and efficient. He went the extra mile to cycle back and retrieve a mobile phone my wife had left in a restaurant in Regensburg. That was above and beyond the call of duty. We were very grateful indeed to him. The route was wonderful with every stop having something different and interesting to see. The organised walks and tours were great, especially the one in Regensburg with Sebastian.
Should really say how horrible it was to keep the prices down and vacancies high but that would not be honest. This is, by a country mile, the best cruise we have been on whether that is the room, the trips, the dining and most importantly, the team. The latter being exceptionally led and kept to the highest standards that they have so willingly bought in to. They are the ones who make it so wonderful; be it the fine dining, reception or to cleaning the boat so immaculately - sends a great message when the Captain is so visible around the ship and in conversation. He greeted us back from trips with his team, all smiling and genuinely pleased to see us. The Cruise Director was one of the nicest and helpful people anyone could ever meet, nothing was too much trouble be it an 'emergency' chair for a less abled passenger or medication for a few people who caught a sniffle. The Head of Household told me it was an honour to have such a superb team and I cant fault that. The Purser and his team, so visible and helpful too as were the chefs and bar team - let us not forget the most important, our cabin team who kept our room so immaculate and the 'invisible' team that made this cruise happen and happen safely. I cannot speak highly enough of the crew, they were so nice and friendly, many a shore side establishment would do well to attain this standard. By far the best we have encountered and will not hesitate to book again next year. Thank you.
My wife and I have been on a few cruises. River and Ocean. We decided on this Danube Cruise as we wanted to visit the towns and cities on its itinerary. APT, Travelmarvel were a new company to us but the pictures of the ship looked good. I required a special diet and when we booked was assured it would be catered for. It certainly was with the Hotel Manager sorting it all out and organising it with the Chef and Waiters. The whole ship was spotless and in lovely condition. It was a modern design with some excellent features. All the staff, from sailing crew, cabin staff, restaurant staff, entertainment staff were all so efficient and all extremely friendly and pleasant. A great ship to be travelling on and a very friendly ship. There were lots of Australian passengers as it is an Australian company but that only helped to enhance the fun and good nature aboard. Thanks to all the staff and the friendly passengers
We went on the Polaris and cruised The Rhine and Main. The Polaris was absolutely amazing and very clean. All the staff where very friendly and always helpful. The cabin was very spacious and had all that you needed. The food was lovely but sometimes a bit bland. Sadly our ship started to shake during the night which caused us not to sleep much. We found out that the propeller had been damaged and that the ship needed to go into a dry dock for repair. This was to be done on our last day so we had to have luggage outside the door by 6.30am and leave the ship by 8am. Then we had to be transferred by coach to a hotels conference room to wait for another coach to take us to the airport. I cannot fault the staff as they organised everything to ensure everyone was looked after. The holiday itself was amazing and very relaxing and we met some lovely people it's just a shame it ended how it did.
