I cannot fault the service I received from Rachel Mack. She went that extra mile to ensure that she was able to offer me exactly what I wanted from my river cruise choice. I had many questions and requirements which she dealt with in a friendly, helpful manner whilst remaining professional at all times. It was a pleasure to deal with her, she is a credit to APT.
Very high quality fabulous cruise.
Fabulous boat, immaculately maintained, excellent ports of call, enthusiastic and informative Tour Director, plenty of food and drink, ( though served by less than enthusiastic staff, no eye contact, little rapport ). Overall, an exceptionally good trip. We would strongly recommend APT to anyone considering a small motor yacht cruise.,

Small ship was just right with only 28 people. Tour Director Tomas was brilliant Captain Marin and crew were very friendly and efficient.
Everything was very well organised. Excellent staff. Great tour director who couldn't do enough for you. Excellent food. What we hadn't thought about was that being a small ship, it was affected by the weather. So we had to complete everything a day early and spend the last day in port
Flights, transfers etc all organised for us. Excellent guide in Tomasz. Accommodation and food of a very high standard. Well planned stops and swimming off the ship.
A great holiday, it just didn’t get off to the best start Transport wasn’t there to pick us up from the airport but that seemed to be due to traffic we did have to wait about 40 minutes and found trying to contact anyone wasn’t the easiest with an emergency number only offering an answer service. Because of this we did miss a trip into Nuremberg. Great trip though and very impressed with the accommodation staff food etc. Cabins spacious, very comfortable beds, they offer everything you need. Dining was a happy affair with wine or beer to accompany your meal. I think a few more vegetarian options wouldn’t go amiss. Staff very attentive, obliging and friendly. James the barman went above and beyond to help me when in port on arrival I was very grateful for his help. All in all a lovely experience and met some great people. The entertainment was good, a duo of keys player and vocalist who were very good. Nice thing was not having to go far! Except back to your cabin and then look forward to the next destination! Helpful staff when I made the booking and ease of departing from a local airport sealed it for me. I’m very pleased I took this trip.
Dalmatian Coast Cruise. Positives - Very good shore tour guides. Excellent Captain. Interesting and varied programme. Very good organisation and timings. Swimming in deep water off the boat invigorating. Negatives - cold first night in cabin as there were no blankets supplied until next day. No tea-making or coffee facility in cabin. Cramped bathroom. Food/cuisine not up to normal APT standards. Top deck sun loungers soaked in rain before we arrived could not be used for a day or so. Ship design required walk through dining room to go on decks. We booked through APT but found Travelmarvel had taken over everything.
We booked an Adriatic island cruise on the APT ship Lady Eleganza through our travel agent. It looked lovely. However, it turned out that they couldn't provide this cruise as advertised and we would have to use the Princess Eleganza which is fairly similar but less well appointed. They apologised and said they would give us a free upgrade to a better cabin. They charged the same price as for the advertised cruise. On the ship we discovered that we hadn't been upgraded at all and we were actually in the lowest quality cabin! So, beware! The cruise itself and the staff were pleasant enough but their sales people may not be all that trustworthy.
Every day there were different optional excursion to see a medieval village, a farm, a castle which were all very well organised with a maximum of about 25 to 30 in each group with their own guide. The Signature Experiences of the visit to Namedy Castle meeting Princess Heidi and the evening in Vienna with the orchestra and singers were excellent. Unfortunately, the train trip on the Grand Empress Steam train was very disappointing and didn’t live up to expectations. We lunched in modern day carriages that were located behind the old carriages being pulled by an old steam train. The train route was awful, we just passed concrete walls covered in graffiti for most to the trip and only near the end did we really see any countryside. If the trip had started at the point where we were dropped off, it could possibly have been better. The ship the AmaStella was very well equipped, the cabins are compact but adequate. A nice feature is that at night if you go into the bathroom a blue light comes on automatically so you can find your way. The food was varied although there could have been more choice of hot food at lunch time. The two evening meals in the Chefs restaurant were superb and very tasty. The crew were very friendly and helpful and quickly got to know us. The tour director Anja was firm but fair and kept us organised and on time. The evening entertainment was great especially Rees and Beth, the singer and pianist who unfortunately had to return to the UK after our trip due to Brexit rules. As one might expect there were about 75% Aussies and 25% from the UK on board but they were all very friendly and welcoming. Another great APT trip.
This was our first river cruise, we usually take ocean cruises. But we were offered a great deal on a 14 day cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest, so thought we would give a river cruise a try. We were not disappointed. The whole experience was excellent . Excellent service, great food, friendly and attentive staff, nothing was too much for them. The all inclusive package meant we had nothing else to pay for other than souvenir shopping etc ashore. We would definitely go on another river cruise with APT.
The cruise = staff excellent - excursions and tour guides excellent and also the food and drinks. Pick up from the door and return journey first class. however - you shot yourself in foot with the flight arrangements. We wanted to fly from Birmingham to Porto - you routed us via Frankfurt to Porto resulting an 8 hours of travelling when there were flights to direct to Birmingham which would have taken 2 hours. Same with the return journey could have been in Caribbean on this travelling time. The travelling arrangements put a sad gloss on the holiday. Would appreciate your comments re travelling arrangements. I look forward to y
