Radio advert drew my attention to trying An Post and their renewal was good enough that I switched all 3 cars over to An Post insurance.
Because we are with you so long makes it easier. We switch main drivers every year to keep no claims bonus active for both. It's easier to do with an post

I had to make a claim for motor insurance, the broker AIG did not have drivers licence on file and I had to send it multiple times by email. I would have expected A Post to pass on this data to AIG when I signed up. This was a poor customer experience.

I needed to get a Named Driver Experience letter for my daughter on a policy that I previously had with An Post Car Insurance. I had since moved my insurance to another provider. I sent them an email outlining the request, and had the letter within a couple of hours. I'm blown away by that level of customer service in this day and age. You don't see it too often.
