Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.

Following works in our Courtyard that were scheduled to last one day, Anglian Water project management staff excelled themselves by displaying the previously experienced “couldn’t care less attitude “ to Customer Service. Our WhatsApp Residents’ group was buzzing with the deplorable state of affairs. Two residents could not use their parking spaces because if they did, the AWA excavation would block everyone else’s access. Here are a few of the messages. I had four seperate conversations with AWA on Monday and Saturday. The last person who called me back said he would personally manage the job and ensure it was completed by Monday afternoon. AWA is a company that uses Contractors over whom they have little control. They specialise in starting one day works on a Friday, then letting them slip for several days. Abysmal customer service. I’ll contact them again. Fingers crossed I phoned Anglian Water this afternoon to complain that the work had not been completed, even though the notice gave a completion date of today. I received an apology that it had not been done and was told it would be looked into and I would be phoned back. Of course I have not been phoned. If no workmen appear tomorrow morning I will phone again. Any more empty promises Anglian?
Had no idea what I was doing and had a lovely woman named Kathryn who totally helped and explained everything to me and advised my best options. This woman was excellent in everything she explained. Customer services to the highest standard

Great service from Helen in Customer Service. I found sudden increase in my bills and I found a leak in my house. After repair I turned to Anglian Water to find out if there is anything they can do about the excess bill. She quickly identified my problem and found a solution within minutes. All via WhatsApp chat and no waiting on the phone. It couldn’t be easier experience. Big thank you to Helen.
I need to sort out an payment and they helped me set it up with a direct debit
I have received a recent bill after a meter reading, I was happy how things were but Anglian Water decided I was £8.45 in Debit with an 8% rise in water usage. They decided and estimated a monthly rise of 39% to clear my Debit which would be paid off with interest in 1 month. They were very unhelpful and blamed the Government for this type of increase in payments. They put out all of these adverts about friendly help? I think this year is HIT the pensioners year.
I would love to say big thank you for Kathryn who assisted me today. She helped me to resolve the problem so quickly and made me support.
Spoke to Kathryn via WhatsApp - I’m a first time buyer and not sure what was involved, she’s been amazing and talked me through the entire process and what to expect in the coming year. Thank you Kathryn! Made a stressful process much less stressful!

Anglian water are 💩 they polluted it all over Wells beach the DISCUSTING lot they should get a huge fine and let someone else come In as they are a MORONIC MONOPOLY so get rid of them!
I had a lot of confusion about a new bill since my direct debit ended, Kathryn on live chat was very patient and helpful with me while I was trying to understand. She made things very clear and resolved my issue, setting up a new direct debit for me.

I recently received a large bill, due to overflowing tank and toilet. I contacted AW by phone 7 days ago. I was dealt with courteously, helpfully and quickly. A site visit 2 working days later confirmed the problem and the engineer gave useful advice. Problem fixed by local plumber, I rang AW 14/8 explained problem to operator and gave new meter reading. She asked me to wait whilst she calculated the refund and within minutes did just that. I dealt with 3 customer service operators and 1 engineer. All were cheerful and helpful and most important, the problem was sorted quickly without stress and I got an unexpected refund. KD
