How bad can you aspire to be?
Following works in our Courtyard that were scheduled to last one day, Anglian Water project management staff excelled themselves by displaying the previously experienced “couldn’t care less attitude “ to Customer Service. Our WhatsApp Residents’ group was buzzing with the deplorable state of affairs. Two residents could not use their parking spaces because if they did, the AWA excavation would block everyone else’s access. Here are a few of the messages. I had four seperate conversations with AWA on Monday and Saturday. The last person who called me back said he would personally manage the job and ensure it was completed by Monday afternoon. AWA is a company that uses Contractors over whom they have little control. They specialise in starting one day works on a Friday, then letting them slip for several days. Abysmal customer service. I’ll contact them again. Fingers crossed I phoned Anglian Water this afternoon to complain that the work had not been completed, even though the notice gave a completion date of today. I received an apology that it had not been done and was told it would be looked into and I would be phoned back. Of course I have not been phoned. If no workmen appear tomorrow morning I will phone again. Any more empty promises Anglian?
