This app is to hard to find my results. Keeps giving me the run around. I seen others results and I can’t find nothing like other DNA sites. I wasted my time here

Seemed like a canned analysis. Names popping up, however, are doors to be opened, questions to be answered. I have additional information, such as when a marriage shows only one child. I know of addi... See more

I loved finding out about my origins.
You have my father listed as my grandfather
I’m Asian adopted living in Belgium and it’s 75 euros( shipping included) and it was already hard to find the shipping label. I got my results and it’s super vague with only estimates of the regions % that can vary with 15% which us super big. Big scam
Love the way the Lord made me!!
Not recommande to try this as they will only give you few information that might be even faulty. Doesn’t worth the wait and the price! I was never convinced about DNA studies but I wanted to give it a try and I’m still thinking we are far a way to know about DNA.
I do not have a report of any kind yet. It has been a very long time. I have a lot of e-mails about searching deeper but no report I was looking forward to reviewing. Could someone reach out to me and tell me where the report is???? Bonnie Hyra
Thru ancestry and even without doing a DNA test, but my making a family tree and putting in info I knew, I found my aunt first then found out I had 11 other paternal siblings and a father alive. Imagine at 42 years old finding out all this. We eventually found anything sister after. They all were searching for me all these years too. That same year I met my brother in jamaica, then 1 sister who lived hours away .. wow.. then 2 other sister and the icing my 96 year old grandfather omg. I eventually met my dad and 4 other siblings in person last year 2024 in Canada. I’m yet to meet 1 more brother who’s in England. Unfortunately 1 of my younger sister passed before I could meet her in person. But I came from being alone as an only child as my mom had passed to heaving a new huge family. It’s been awesome. I put in my DNA now in 2025 five years later in the event there are others out there searching, whether immediate family or distant, I could be a help. As of yesterday when y results was posted, someone got a hit for 3% match so she is a cousin and I’m trying to help her. I’d encourage anyone to do this.
No, I didn’t like the experience. They drew a circle around half the world and told me, ‘You’re from here.’ Ridiculous, right? )))
Great info on me being English n Scottish n I thought I was more Irish All good
So I am adopted and ive met a large part of my birth mothers family the Gorsuch's and I have very limited knowledge of my birth fathers family the Hoffman's. I also love finding family from my Levine. Thank you so much Ancestry for developing the formula thus allowing people to learn who they are and where they've come from. It is truly quite incredible. Add in the traits how cool is that they were almost all correct I am sadly a very picky eater that was the only one off. Keep up the amazing work you do in allowing us to find whatever it is we are searching for.
Disappointing
Since my father was killed when I was 4yo, it was really interesting to learn my genealogy from his side. Much of it lined up with my own research but neat to it all prepared and shared in the water ancestory presents it. Thank you.
Awesomeness awesomeness
I paid for time on ancestry $25 a month and I wanted to just absorb what I had and cancelled for the time being and now I have to pay a $25 cancellation fee. This is just upsetting. It just puts a bad taste in my mouth. My whole family wanted to do this test after I did and now I will warn them about the cancellation fee.
My journey so far has been amazing learning new things about my family history and locating love ones. Super excited to continue this journey.
Just received my results but haven’t seen any thing but request to buy additional services even though it impossible to to review my initial service. You appear to be a big rip off
Very vague information. After waiting at least 6 weeks all you find out is what continent with possible countries your origins may be. My niece who is my sister’s daughter came up 0% on some that I have origins in. How is that possible. If you’d like to know what continent each of your parents may have been from, well you’ll have to pay extra for that. In the end you won’t really be able to figure out your ethnicity. With a last name like Muehlheim I was certain there would be some German in there somewhere. Who knew that Muehlheim would be a common polish last name!
I have been researching my ancestry since I retired in 2021 and getting my DNA results was great. The process was easy and fast.
It finally settled some questions about my heritage along with a few surprises
