Amber electric have upped my usage charge by 3 times my original costing. Doubling my previous bill. I work full time hardly home with 2 people in the house. When asked why it is so high. They said I used more that month. Not double the amount. I will not use them again it recommend them.
This is a great company if you use lots of electricity. They give you warnings when the price is expensive so you can cut back your usage.The rest of the day your power is less then half the price of other power companies.As they price power on how much the are charged,not what they can get away with like other companies.They also send you details in the beginning of each season on their maximum charge related to peak pricing.They also have an app that shows how much power you are using at anytime and how much solar is going back into the grid. When you have any questions they get back to you quickly. Amber is the best electricity supplier I have had in the last 20 years.
Outstanding product. We get our electricity at cheaper price and best of all get great export prices. Customer service has been amazing, explaining each questions answer clearly with the assistance to talk us through what we needed to do. Well done guys
A breath of fresh air, with a company that is allowing solar and battery installers to be rewarded for their investment. Other companies, have reduced solar input to 3 cents per kw, an insult. Looking forward to a mutually rewarding experience, where we are rewarded for our investment.

The best electricity provider out there, with a bit of risk/reward, based on current bulk electricity price.

A great concept, supported by a very easy-to-use app and helpful reminders that I can adjust myself. I've halved my electricity bills by paying the wholesale price, plus I've also been able to adjust my usage to make the most of cheaper times, and avoid expensive times. The wild fluctuations in the wholesale price that the suppliers charge are astounding and instructive. It feels great to have complete control.

Everything is clear and transparent with this company. You pay for what you use at the time you use it, for the stated $/c price for electricity in the app. I have saved a lot of money and thoroughly recommend Amber to anyone else who is interested in changing electricity companies.

This is a company who can help you head towards being net zero for CO2. They offset their and your carbon emissions. You get to see the current wholesale electricity that you are buying and selling if you have solar/batteries. The time to buy and sell electricity is easy to see.

An actual power company with good intentions! And by moving a few heavy power usage items (ie dishwasher and clothes washing machine), we’ve come out well below our old retailers bills. Pretty cool to get paid (or pay very little) when the power is cheap, and help do our little bit in the fight against climate change by load shifting to these cheap and sometimes free parts of the day. We have now been with Amber for just under 2 years, and every single month’s bill has come out cheaper than our previous retailer (GloBird) for the corresponding month (currently averaging 19.2c/kWh which is crazy considering that includes all “peak” time power usage).
