Amber electric have upped my usage charge by 3 times my original costing. Doubling my previous bill. I work full time hardly home with 2 people in the house. When asked why it is so high. They said I used more that month. Not double the amount. I will not use them again it recommend them.
This is a great company if you use lots of electricity. They give you warnings when the price is expensive so you can cut back your usage.The rest of the day your power is less then half the price of other power companies.As they price power on how much the are charged,not what they can get away with like other companies.They also send you details in the beginning of each season on their maximum charge related to peak pricing.They also have an app that shows how much power you are using at anytime and how much solar is going back into the grid. When you have any questions they get back to you quickly. Amber is the best electricity supplier I have had in the last 20 years.
Outstanding product. We get our electricity at cheaper price and best of all get great export prices. Customer service has been amazing, explaining each questions answer clearly with the assistance to talk us through what we needed to do. Well done guys
A breath of fresh air, with a company that is allowing solar and battery installers to be rewarded for their investment. Other companies, have reduced solar input to 3 cents per kw, an insult. Looking forward to a mutually rewarding experience, where we are rewarded for our investment.

Highly recommended, but you have to be pro-active by constantly checking the price on the app (not 100% accurate but it's reasonable) and planning usage throughout the day. We saved a lot of money and gain awareness of our usage in return. In times when wholesale prices went crazy, which happened a few times, there is hedging which helps us offset the usage cost. Will not switch back to any other retailers. Amber - Keep up the Great Work!

Amber provides the platform to truly purchase electric based on wholesale price. I can plan ahead when to use the power-hungry appliance like heating and cooling and when not to use it. Overall, I’m paying lowered kW/c compared to other normal traditional energy retailer.

I love that we can choose when to run our appliances and save some $. It’s better in my pocket! I have learnt how to use the delay starter on my washing machine, dishwasher and dryer so I can choose to use these when power is at its lowest

The app is extremely useful to use.also with Amber they let you know by tex message that the electricity is peaking up.this allows you to turn off excess power Off till the price starts to come down

To date we have made significant savings using Amber. You do have to make sure that you check the unit rate on a daily basis however to make sure that you are consuming power at the cheapest possible rate. Lately the kWh rate has increased due to various issues but Amber always sends messages warning of any potential problems. I am sticking with them as this pricing method must be the way forward.
