The staff at the Acorn Rainham branch…

The staff at the Acorn Rainham branch are a credit to the sector, from our initial talks with Kieran through to Mark and Remmi when completing. They all went above and beyond to make sure we was fully satisfied and always kept us updated. In this process we had dealt with several estate agents and by far Acorn Rainham were the best. If we were to need an estate agent again. Acorn Rainham would be our top choice and would highly recommend them. Well done Mark, Kieran and Remmi Thankyou so much Lee & Alice

Great experience

I have dealt with multiple estate agents in the past, and I found the staff at Acorn Rainham branch exceptional. Mark and Kieran were professional as well as very friendly and easy to get on with. They kept me informed the whole time, which other agents have not. I would use them again in the future

I had an excellent experience with…

I had an excellent experience with Acorn Real Estate Group, and I want to especially thank Mark, Kieran, and Remmi for their outstanding support throughout the process. From start to finish β€” and particularly up to the exchange of contracts β€” their professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication were second to none. They kept me well-informed at every stage, provided honest and clear advice, and were always available to answer my questions promptly. It’s rare to find a team so committed to client satisfaction. Thanks to their hard work, the process was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend Acorn and this fantastic team for anyone looking for reliable and genuinely supportive estate agents.

Mark and James from Rainham

Mark and James from Rainham, Kent branch have been wonderful by helping me selling the house. After several awful experiences with different estate agencies, I have finally found Mark who together with James helped me to find the perfect client for my property. I have met Mark before while I was viewing several properties and I noticed that he is excellent with people and has excellent skills in negotiation.

Do not place a holding deposit you will not get it back

I had an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience with Acorn Estate's Dartford branch. I paid a holding deposit of Β£276.92 for a property at 82 Springhead Parkway DA11 8BF, but despite multiple requests, they failed to refund the deposit after the landlord chose another applicant. This is a clear violation of the Tenant Fees Act 2019, which requires a refund within 7 calendar days when the applicant is not at fault. The individual who was meant to address my concerns, Aiden Harding, was utterly unhelpful. He was nothing more than a salesman at best, completely failing to take responsibility or follow up on the issue. When I escalated my case, I was met with the same lack of professionalism and dismissive attitude from Elycia Norton-Smith. To make matters worse, I’ve had to pay an additional Β£35 just to initiate a legal claim to retrieve my own money, which is completely unacceptable. Both Aiden Harding and Elycia Norton-Smith have been insulting and negligent, and I would strongly advise anyone to stay far away from this branch. They are untrustworthy and completely disregard their obligations to customers. It has been over 7 days so they do not adhere to their terms.

Kevin Ashton at Acorn's Brockley branch displays both energy and enthusiasm. Terrific service. A super-speedy bunch of offers resulted in a painless sale. Cannot fault him or his branch.

Absolute disgrace

Absolute disgrace. After getting pulled pillar to post with loads of different properties and then not actually getting one. The last one topped it for me and my partner after signing a tenancy agreement for one property the landlord changed his mind and then the holding fee got moved onto another property. We then signed another agreement and got the house. Even got a moving date. So we made arrangements with a removal company and both cancelled the tenancy agreements on the properties we were both in. The landlord had used two letting agency’s and dropped us too so our holding fee meant nothing. Acorn were prepared for us to be homeless. They still owe the holding fee and it’s been a month. What if we needed that for a holding fee on another property? Disgraceful

Very poor experience with one member of the team - Joy Davis

Firstly i would like to start with positives, the team in Bexleyheath branch have been nothing but helpful to get me across the line following issues with a specific member of staff. Without the help of the guys at the branch this would never have made it across the line. Then onto the negatives - Joy Davis. The worst customer service I've ever received. So much so that this is the first time I have ever left a review against a company. Rude, incompetent and most of the time incorrect - and that's just when she decides to answer (most of the time will essentially just ignore you). It took 8 weeks to receive a deposit back from a rental property acorn managed, beginning with her sending over an incorrect review of the property, when asked to rectify this she simply told me to sort it with the tenant as she was either too incompetent or lacked any form of work ethic to complete this herself. Eventually she rectified this issue after me explaining to her that it is in fact her job. She then sent me the incorrect amount, upon chasing this with over 15 emails across a month I had no choice but to threaten legal action, which then led to receiving the correct amount of funds. The guys at bexleyheath branch had informed me she had not actually processed the payment at all, which i believe was to just waste my time further as she took a dislike to me pretty early on. So in conclusion - bexleyheath branch - awesome team who will help at any point. Joy Davis - terrible.
