The worst operator I've ever used.

The worst operator I've ever used. The internet is absolutely unstable. The speed is 0.2mb/s and this is 4g coverage? According to diagnostics, it feels like they're "scattering" it across different servers, like some kind of parasite. Ping is crazy. +- normal internet only at night. I don't recommend it

False Advertising Buyer Beware.

False Advertising Buyer Beware. You have to purchase a plan by contract before you get your free month and then you have very little data as they say it's a FAIR USAGE POLICY. Absolutely A Disgrace. It Looks like a great deal but it's not. Beware.

Absolutely terrible. Indescribably useless. Data rarely ever works, and if it does, it’s 3g. There is no roaming despite what they say. I’ve tried everything and even got in contact with 48 to fix the issue and still nothing works. On top of that, you are not able to call non Irish numbers. UK, Spain, America etc. Complete joke. I don’t understand how something can be so useless. I am not usually the type to leave reviews and complain about things, but holy god 48 is terrible. The price is good, but the quality of services needs a serious overhaul.

Was a critic but no longer.

Was a critic over the years but stuck with 48 as they pioneered very cheap mobile phone access. In past year they have resolved the roaming problem and all is good. Now almost always get automatic roaming 4G cover when in UK and continent. Excellent result. Well done 48.

Internet connection disappointment

Is everyone having problems to connect to the Internet? I was having a reasonable Internet access until 1 month ago. From 1 month to now the internet is literally just not connecting... I cannot do a simple Google search and when trying to watch a football match it stops every 2 seconds watching. 😣😣😣 It's impossible to load any simple website. Very frustrating 😀

What a load of S.H.1.T!!!

I was in Bulgaria recently for 3 weeks No service at all despite upgrading to their new 5g package. I am now home in ireland and this evening I can't stream Facebook content or tick-tock as it keeps buffering. I have not been able to stay connected to the internet for the last two hours! This is not the first time this has happened. When my monthly contract is up I will be dumping this runish supplier.

While 48.ie may be a good s Cellular service I think it's very sneaky that they don't make it clear that their free 1gb trial will not allow you to assess their 5G capability as they don't include 5G in their trial.

Worst service ever.Useless company

Ordered a SIM card.Wouldnt activate.Comtacted customer services three times in the past week.Promised repeatedly it would be sorted within 24hrs.Still waiting eight days later.At one stage promised it would be sorted last Saturday.Sunday contacted them and agent said tech do not work weekends.Another agent just promised me it would be sorted in 24hrs.... Saturday? Avoid at all costs.Worse than ryanair....

Avoid,useless support.Grass is not always greener on the other side.

Was trying to register,their app is the worst could get it done.Went online and double the amount was taken from my bank account but not credited to my 48 mobile account. It's been 4 days now, nothing done.I am offline,can't make calls and seriously regret going for them.Should have stayed with my old provider,the grass is not always greener.Contacted online support team,was promised twice it will be sorted asap but nothing done.Avoid these scammers.

If I could give 0 stars I would

If I could give 0 stars I would. 48 Mobile is fine unless you need data roaming outside Ireland then it simply doesn't work. Have been abroad twice last 3 years (France and Spain) and both times data roaming didn't work on kids phone.. Followed all the long and pointless troubleshooting excerise to no avail.. Had ordered new sims after roaming didn't work the 1st time abroad which 48 mobile recommended.. Rubbish service while abroad. Just cancelled 48 mobile.. Save yourself the hassle.. Don't bother !!!
