The worst operator I've ever used.

The worst operator I've ever used. The internet is absolutely unstable. The speed is 0.2mb/s and this is 4g coverage? According to diagnostics, it feels like they're "scattering" it across different servers, like some kind of parasite. Ping is crazy. +- normal internet only at night. I don't recommend it

False Advertising Buyer Beware.

False Advertising Buyer Beware. You have to purchase a plan by contract before you get your free month and then you have very little data as they say it's a FAIR USAGE POLICY. Absolutely A Disgrace. It Looks like a great deal but it's not. Beware.

Absolutely terrible. Indescribably useless. Data rarely ever works, and if it does, it’s 3g. There is no roaming despite what they say. I’ve tried everything and even got in contact with 48 to fix the issue and still nothing works. On top of that, you are not able to call non Irish numbers. UK, Spain, America etc. Complete joke. I don’t understand how something can be so useless. I am not usually the type to leave reviews and complain about things, but holy god 48 is terrible. The price is good, but the quality of services needs a serious overhaul.

48 cannot fix issues if occured

If there was a zero star rating thats what I would give 48..just came back from EU and nothing worked..didn't even work when I flew into Dublin..got onto a so called customer care desk..no call just typing the answer..he/she asked if I could try my sim card on another device...omg...this is run by a group of dopes..if worked on your phone abroad then you must have an old phone...do not change to 48 if you are to go abroad as you may be left lost, without directions is not ideal.

Stick to a phone company with a store

Stick to a phone company with a store - took weeks for the sim to arrive (meanwhile I was paying high pay as you go rates as you need to get off your previous plan to port). The number never ported, I was told there was an 'error'. Wish I had just paid the extra $ for a phone company with a store that could get it sorted asap as I've paid the difference 10 times over at this point.

Don’t understand the negative feedback

I have been a 48’ie customer now for almost 6 months. During that time I have used 48’ie abroad ie roaming and in Ireland. I found the roaming service to be flawless once one manually switches ones device to roaming! Regarding speed I have not experienced a drop in service and the transmission speeds are excellent. My €12.99 subscription rolls over effortlessly when I am abroad. I have unlimited megbs when in Ireland and so far 48’ie have continued with their terms and conditions and when they say unlimited 5g they do actually stick to unlimited 5g! I don’t understand the negative feedback from some reviewers on TP…. Maybe 48’ie should advertise more and highlight their excellent service

The slowest

The slowest, laggiest Internet in Ireland. Has become an absolute joke in the last few months. Supposed support is pretty clueless also. Don't waste your money on these clowns.

Misleading advertising

The connection is poor, especially in bad weather, and it is necessary to contact 48 Mobile to try to resolve "signal loss" issues. They provide very little information, advertising unlimited internet for just €12.99, but it's actually misleading advertising because there is a limit on the internet, which they don't declare. Speaking with the operators, they clear their conscience by saying, "the limits will be removed from September." Meanwhile, for years they have been robbing us of our money, making us believe the internet was unlimited! They are hypocrites and scammers! 😡

Completely & utterly useless if you are…

Completely & utterly useless if you are outside main cities. Completely and utterly no roaming AT ALL, even in Northern Ireland. They say their €12.99 plan is UNLIMITED…. it is not, there is a MAXIMUM 200gb data cap. False advertising, useless coverage, no roaming, no customer service and in short IT IS A CON JOB. Save your money and buy from a provider that is the primary supplier, not a second rate piggy back wannabe. Vodafone/Three/Eir are the ones to be with. 48 should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

Customer service is terrible!!!

On July 14, I topped up my member ship for 10.99e, and my bank account was deducted three times for 10.99e. Every time I chat with an operator, they can't identify me, even though I've been their customer for many years. Since then, I can't get my money back, there's no competent customer service at all, it's frustrating!!!!
