The worst operator I've ever used.

The worst operator I've ever used. The internet is absolutely unstable. The speed is 0.2mb/s and this is 4g coverage? According to diagnostics, it feels like they're "scattering" it across different servers, like some kind of parasite. Ping is crazy. +- normal internet only at night. I don't recommend it

False Advertising Buyer Beware.

False Advertising Buyer Beware. You have to purchase a plan by contract before you get your free month and then you have very little data as they say it's a FAIR USAGE POLICY. Absolutely A Disgrace. It Looks like a great deal but it's not. Beware.

Absolutely terrible. Indescribably useless. Data rarely ever works, and if it does, it’s 3g. There is no roaming despite what they say. I’ve tried everything and even got in contact with 48 to fix the issue and still nothing works. On top of that, you are not able to call non Irish numbers. UK, Spain, America etc. Complete joke. I don’t understand how something can be so useless. I am not usually the type to leave reviews and complain about things, but holy god 48 is terrible. The price is good, but the quality of services needs a serious overhaul.

Better than expected.

Better than expected. Good data transfer(personal use), signal, reception much better than gomo, customer service ok for only 10.99. I think fair service for price. I can recommend it for everyone who does not need more than 100GB

In general good service for a good…

In general good service for a good price. The only thing is that sometimes depends on where you are the connection coverage is weak but I didn’t face major issues with that. 8/10

Cheap? Good? Yes

I start in ireland with this company and i'm really suprised. Price is very good, in any moment i can stop buying membership, three my friends gived me 3 months free membership. Sometimes i have problem with internet connection but its not a big problem. Chat with 48 is... IT depends wich who are You chatting. 2/3 helpers are really helpful but sometimes i just end the chat and try again. Summary: good price, acceptable funcions. If You just looking for cheap phone number here You go.

Not the best

The only reason I'm with 48 is that it's the best cheapest option, but if I had a choice I would 10000% NOT choose this provider. They use 3's coverage I guess so it's kinda crap and every so often there's just no internet/network. Like, I'm able to make calls and texts I guess but their data is awful. I'm currently on the 7.99 plan with unlimited texts, calls and 100GB of data and it's only because my dad cancelled my GoMo membership and tbh, GoMo is amazing and if I had the choice I'd go back but I guess I'm just stuck with this for now...

Not able to give a zero star

Not able to give a zero star. These cowboys will try and use any excuse to avoid paying the referral credit. Referred two new customers and they won’t give them their free credit because they accidentally and inadvertently used the wrong SIM card. Avoid like the plague.

Porting to 48

Recently moved family account with two numbers over to 48. Had been dreading the move given the woeful reputation of telecom customer service. Contacted 48 via webchat and numbers were moved without a problem in 24 hours as outlined in FAQs. Very happy with how the switch over was handled. Well done 48!

SIM never arrived, support useless

Ordered a SIM online on January 14th 2021 and it never got despatched. Spoke to their support on twitter and was told to re-order to a different address which also never got despatched. Spoke to them again and was told sometimes they can't deliver to some addresses (lol?) Both addresses were city addresses. Was offered no further help just incoherent copy/paste nonsense. Dodged a bullet joining I think.
