The worst operator I've ever used.

The worst operator I've ever used. The internet is absolutely unstable. The speed is 0.2mb/s and this is 4g coverage? According to diagnostics, it feels like they're "scattering" it across different servers, like some kind of parasite. Ping is crazy. +- normal internet only at night. I don't recommend it

False Advertising Buyer Beware.

False Advertising Buyer Beware. You have to purchase a plan by contract before you get your free month and then you have very little data as they say it's a FAIR USAGE POLICY. Absolutely A Disgrace. It Looks like a great deal but it's not. Beware.

Absolutely terrible. Indescribably useless. Data rarely ever works, and if it does, it’s 3g. There is no roaming despite what they say. I’ve tried everything and even got in contact with 48 to fix the issue and still nothing works. On top of that, you are not able to call non Irish numbers. UK, Spain, America etc. Complete joke. I don’t understand how something can be so useless. I am not usually the type to leave reviews and complain about things, but holy god 48 is terrible. The price is good, but the quality of services needs a serious overhaul.

Rubbish.. dont bother!

Rubbish.. no other way I can describe it.. .If there was a 0 rating i would give it. Save yourself a load of stress by paying a bit more with a better network..Very disappointing

Stop moaning

We moved 4 phones to 48's €7.99 offer last July. We are enjoying an excellent phone, data and customer service experience for less than what we had been paying for any 1 of our phones.

Recently moved family account with two…

Recently moved family account with two numbers over to 48 with the 7.99 offer. The SIM card arrived in few days. Contacted 48 via webchat and numbers were moved without a problem. Very happy with how the switch over was handled. IT and customer service really helpful. Good data transfer(personal use), signal, reception sometimes depends on where you ar the connection coverage is weak(because you in Ireland) but I didn’t face major issues with that. International calls are a bit pricey though.Better than expected.Well done 48!

Mighty

So I changed over to 48.ie with the 7.99 offer. To be honest I thought there had to be some sort of catch but there wasnt. OK you need to be patient with customer service but thats the same with every company now. I would be a reasonablly heavy phone user and my bills were usually €50 or €60 per month. Since the switch I have had no real problems. I had to contact 48.ie once or twice at the start with some teething problems. I signed my entire family over (5 in all) I am paying all the bills and it is still cheaper that what my bill alone was previously. Just for that I would give 5 stars. But coverage has not been a problem neither has data. Its a sweet deal.

Honestly just disappointing

Honestly just disappointing, only 2 days and data is gone off/slow and I have the100Gb plan. Definitely cancelling my membership. Don't recommend to anyone

Awful

Awful. Zero data coverage. Can’t even get 3G in large town in Co, Kildare. When you cross the border into the North you lose ALL COVERAGE, requiring you to manually select a network in your settings. Could never ever recommend this network. Big mistake switching
