The worst operator I've ever used. The internet is absolutely unstable. The speed is 0.2mb/s and this is 4g coverage? According to diagnostics, it feels like they're "scattering" it across different servers, like some kind of parasite. Ping is crazy. +- normal internet only at night. I don't recommend it

False Advertising Buyer Beware.

False Advertising Buyer Beware. You have to purchase a plan by contract before you get your free month and then you have very little data as they say it's a FAIR USAGE POLICY. Absolutely A Disgrace. It Looks like a great deal but it's not. Beware.

Absolutely terrible. Indescribably useless. Data rarely ever works, and if it does, it’s 3g. There is no roaming despite what they say. I’ve tried everything and even got in contact with 48 to fix the issue and still nothing works. On top of that, you are not able to call non Irish numbers. UK, Spain, America etc. Complete joke. I don’t understand how something can be so useless. I am not usually the type to leave reviews and complain about things, but holy god 48 is terrible. The price is good, but the quality of services needs a serious overhaul.

Worst mobile supply I have ever dealt with. Customer care virtuallly non existent. If you are lucky enough to get through they ask so many questions designed to conuse,it's easy to lose patience. CANNOT recommend this company. Please avoid!

The Worst customer care ever

The Worst customer care ever. Lost my phone, needed to make an insurance claim for it. It took 4 days for a replacement sim to arrive and then I needed to get information off 48 mobile to make the claim. Its taken a full WEEK to get that information off them. No contact number for them, just webchat, so your basically dealing with a robot. Absolute JOKE, stay away!!!!

I’m new to 48

I’m new to 48. Having issues with texting on my iPhone SE (no issues with previous provider)Tried to message 48 and the issues with THAT service are awful so I’m still unable to send messages. I know it’s a budget price service but please provide help when you say you do (9am-8pm) 😡

Customer support abysmal

Would not send SMS so messaged customer support. By the end nothing worked. Totally useless and could not care less. Told me to reset phone 3 times by 2 different operators. Very unreliable and don't even bother with support.

No good when roaming

I’ve been a loyal customer, with them for year’s. Everything is good unless you go abroad, never really had a problem otherwise except bad coverage in a few rural area’s. There is always a hassle to switch to roaming. Never straight forward, the rest of the family are with other providers, their’s switch to roaming automatically on arriving but I have to spend time having to contact online chat to resolve the issue every-time to go through possible fixes to resolve it, it did eventually work after a few different solutions but this time I was left without service. Enough is enough. Going to cancel for a more reliable service

Avoid

I need a reliable network. Can never top up on this site. They always blame 3 or my card. Changed to Vodafone. More expensive but so reliable

48 Problematic service

First of all: Mobile Data Roaming does not work when abroad: Spain, Scotland and I suppose it would not work properly anywhere. Secondly: I am not able to make any phone calls or send a message, at every attempt got a message "NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK" Very disappointing
